Don’t even bother with this place.
I have gone to the china town kitchens as long as I can remember & have always loved their food, from moving to Sheboygan to moving to Fond du lac & still being to order what I love has been nothing short of amazing.
Fun fact, I’ve been ordering the same thing for YEARS. I’m talking 20 PLUS YEARS. Always been super satisfied. I always always get the Lo Mein, crab ragoons, orange chicken dinner, large white rice, and a chicken with broccoli WITHOUT the vegetables, and occasionally egg drop soup,. I do this because the kids like the chicken with the rice, mind you care for 3 of them, 1 being mine.
Every single time I have ordered the chicken without the vegetables the container is 3/4 full or FULL of chicken and the seasoning. They also forgot to put my large white rice in..
Called to get it situated and figured out & all I was told was “the chef said it’s the correct amount.” Fantastic, so when I ordered two months ago, I was able to feed all three children with the chicken and rice, the $7.20 large white rice is literally useless to the amount of chicken here. So there’s absolutely NO reason to need it now.
Anyways – if you really want your moneys worth, a bang for your buck. Don’t even bother getting their food, call Yummy in fond du lac, or get Fuji yummy. $8 for a large white rice I won’t even touch now!! $70 barely fed four people when I used to buy this ALL OF THE TIME!!!!

This is my second time here. The first time was late at night, and the food was not fresh. This time, the food was good. Lady taking care of was always moving, taking care of us. She was very professional and always trying to help. The sesame balls were excellent, as was the beef chopsuey.

This is the first time that my wife and I had gone back to Chinatown Kitchen since before the pandemic several years ago….and we were both very pleased to see that dine-in was an option once again. While I’ve liked everything that I’ve ever had to eat here, ordering just one item off the menu isn’t my preference since so much of what they make is *REALLY* good that I’d like to have some of a number of things ( i.e. — the buffet ). Well, that was what we had this evening. Everything was as good as I remember it being and we left their pleased to know that their buffet is open once again. Kudos !!

The take out is top tier! The buffet is good too but if you come super late or at a weird time it may not get refilled as much as it would around lunch or supper time. When I want to treat myself this is where I go. Garlic chicken no vegetables!

This place was disappointing, it use to be really good. Food was bad. Never put out fresh food, but they sure jacked up the prices for a buffet. Leason learned will NEVER come back here again!

Only Chinese buffet left in town. It’s pretty good. Usually same food choices but the food is always swapped out after so long. Fresh food is always brought out.
*update* the restaurant had closed the buffet during the pandemic. They recently just reopened the restaurant for buffet ND eat in. Prices are now $13.99 for lunch and $15.99 for dinner. In my opinion they didn’t have a very good selection of food for the price. Not to mention. They’re using paper plates. Plastic cutlery and Styrofoam cups. Was happy to see the buffet back but disappointed with the food and new fine China.

The food is always cooked fresh and hot! The customer service is superb. This is authentic Chinese food run by Chinese owners, and has been a staple of the area for decades. Quality food by hard working immigrants. Truly the American dream! I disagree with review stating poor customer service. Do not associate poor customer service with non native English speakers. The issue is on your end. 4/23/23, Had General Tso’s today with the lunch add on a soda and two crab Rangoon’s. Was helped by Mary very friendly….really appreciate the complimentary sauces.
