This is a great Mexican restaurant in town. I visited for lunch. My favorite order is the fajitas. My first bite was incredible. I love the way they cook the steak. It’s rich and delicious. The friendliness of the staff makes this place even more suitable for creating stories and sharing happiness with friends and family.

I just left this resturant and I have to say it kinda made my stomach hurts. This food is no good. I used to enjoy eating here But today is the last time I will eat in the place they are using can chicken and can pork. The service sucked she allways acts bothered by her job.. The salsa Is never the same and when our food came to the table I new right away it was canned meat
No season to it at all the worst food I have ever jad
had what happened to this place is there new managers or owners someone help before it falls

From staff to food to atmosphere, Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant is amazing. If you are in Pierre South Dakota this is the place. Mexican food being one of my favorite cuisines every time I travel for work and I’m in an area a search for Mexican restaurants. This one definitely has it all and more highly satisfied highly recommended.

The staff were not very friendly when we first came in. It was more than an hour until closing so not sure why the attitude. The wait staff friendlier. The food was okay. The dining area was old and the the furniture was worn.it felt old and on the dirty side.

Overall all experience was less than favorable. For the environment, the restaurant was split in half with one side nearly empty and the other with people packed in. Service, the server was rushed and became less interested as soon as she knew we were splitting our meal. The food… we ordered a super maradona (I think) burrito. When we asked what that meant it was described as a large burrito with enchilada type sauce on top, with sour cream/guacamole. We asked for both and only received the guacamole. The burrito was barely rolled together and was covered with cheese, not enchilada sauce. This matters because my husband does not eat cheese and this was why we ordered this particular burrito. The chicken had little to no flavor. Needless to say, we aren’t likely to revisit this restaurant.

We are only in Pierre for a few days and one of the reasons I’m sad I’ll be leaving soon is this place. Probably one of the most delicious plates of Mexican food that I’ve had. The chips were good, salsa was good, the Pollo Fundido was amazing, and my husband loves his dinner as well. Simply delicious all the way around, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!
