Pretty busy Panera Bread. The atmosphere was nice, and the food delicious as always. Great curb appeal, too!

After a horrible experience at the 12th st location a couple days ago, I really reconsidered patronizing the corporation ever again. I’m glad I gave them another chance, albeit a different location. Bagels were perfect and I didn’t get a lecture on how I should have placed an order earlier (even though my order was in 10-15 min before the walk in). Glad there are still some good employees out there!

Young black lady taking my order was amazing. That same young lady was disrespected in front of customers by a blonde girl in a blue shirt who mist have been a shift leader or manager. Management shouldn’t disrespect employees because they are upset by another customer who was acting like a Karen. This manager didn’t speak to any of the other white employees the same way actually spoke to them very nice and asked instead of giving abrasive directions to the young black girl. Then proceeded to complain about the customer and the young girl to other employees after. Extremely unprofessional and sounded very racially belligerent.

So I came for lunch today and ordered for myself a pick two, and a friend of mine a half a sandwich and normally only order the pick two so I did not know the price of the half a sandwich. They told me one total at the ordering window, and when I got to the window, she stated a different total. I politely just said hey can I get a receipt too please And she acted like I was asking for $1 million and like huff and puffed at me maybe they give you a receipt anyhow and I didn’t need to ask but I didn’t know. She was an older woman and definitely had a bad attitude which sucks because their food is pretty decent , I just much rather go to the one at the other end of peach Street than this one at Keystone Drive because it’s not the first time I’ve had issues here. Do better lady!!!

Horrible service. I drove over an hour to Erie, got Panera Bread as take out before heading home, only to find when I got home that 2 out of 4 orders were in the bag; there were no sandwiches. When I called to complain, I got no apology and a flippant “assistant manager ” who said she couldn’t drive me my order and she would “put me in the book of complaints”
Maybe if the staff hadn’t been so keen on discussing their weekend hotel room with the boyfriend in front of me, they could have gotten my order right. The dumbing down of America, people.

Lackluster service. Overpriced. This 3” x 3” (cold) grilled cheese sandwich will cost you $5.49 + tax. What amounts to a cup of chicken noodle soup will cost you another $5.49 + tax. Ridiculous.
