We shared many plates with family and thought Chef’s slight twists to traditional Southern dishes made for a masterfully presented meal. You can taste the farm to table freshness in every bite from local ingredients and perfect seasoning. The historic home and decor was charming and welcoming, as was service and Chef when we met him at our table.

We recommend everything, but favorites were the fried squash, pork dumplings, beet salad, milk and honey rolls with homemade jam, lamb meatballs, striped bass, beef cheeks (whole beast), fried chicken with spaetzle, silk pie with vanilla ice cream and bread pudding.

Drinks were strong and tasty and we enjoyed the local bourbon recommended to us and local IPAs. We had a great time and the food was rich and filling, yet bright, with perfect hints of acidity and pickling. This is a must try if you are near the north Dallas area. Kudos and cheers, Chef and Heritage Table team! #eatlocal

Wow! This is my new favorite restaurant in downtown Frisco. My wife and I went for a dinner on a Thursday evening. We got there right when they opened at 5:00PM.

We were greeted right away from a friendly hostess. She sat us on the enclosed porch and we had the whole place to ourselves.

Again, we were greeted by a friendly server and his training partner. Both were nice and kept our waters filled.

The food. Blown away. We started with a cup of the butternut squash and mushroom soup. The butter it squash soup was the bomb! The mushroom soup was the best I’ve had as well. Next, we ordered the pork pot pie and their play on chicken and dumplings. Both were super flavorful and tasty.

It was my birthday, so they have us a free piece of lemon pie. Also sooo good.

Nothing but five stars here all around from beginning to end.

We will be back!!!!

Also, the menu lists the local farms where the food comes from. The food is seasonal and fresh. The menu will change frequently.

We came to the Heritage table this past weekend and had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Noel was truly the best waitress we’ve had in the last decade. She was incredibly attentive and ensured my food allergies (gluten-free and dairy-free) were taken care of.

Cocktail drinks were delightful, the peach salad was incredible, and the GF/DF chocolate silk pie was divine.

This was our first time at The Heritage Table. Our server, Noel was attentive, but never obtrusive. The cocktails (Texas peach iced tea, cherry buzz) were exceptional. We started with the fried zucchini with lemon creme fraiche and onion jam (a must-try) and the homemade rolls with fig jam (so good). For our entrees, we had the Fried chicken spaetzel and the roast pork pie. I think we enjoyed the pork pie the most out of the two. My only regret is not having room for dessert, because the bread pudding with homemade marshmallow topping looked sublime. Overall it was a great experience.

Had an amazing time at this restaurant. The service and food was amazing! Heads up, you can’t vape inside the restaurant. Other than that, would recommend!

I had the hanger streak, it was amazing!

We went on Valentine’s Day. We were seated promptly and taken care of wonderfully the whole night! Our waitress was fabulous and gave us great recommendations. We ordered the milk & honey rolls (w/ green tomato jam.. delicious!), the fried farm squash, the country fried chicken & spaetzle, the prairie farmstead pork pie, and the bread pudding. We also tried 3 of their cocktails – all excellent. Every single bite we had was delicious, warm, and very fresh. This restaurant knows what they are doing when putting flavors together with quality ingredients. The timing of the meal was excellent too, with each course arriving at good intervals. The wait staff was phenomenal all night – even a passing waitress who brought us our boxed up leftovers gave us recommendations on how to use them! It was an above and beyond experience and we already want to make another reservation.

Mushroom soup was shockingly amazing. We needed a repeat order. Ordered chicken spaetzle, vegan dumplings and short rib -all delicious. Kids got butter noodles and chicken which they raved over. Service was top notch and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

I had my birthday dinner there last month, and everything was AWESOME!!!! The restaurant looks amazing inside and the food, I just do not have words for how delicious everything was. The service was top notch as well. If you have not had the chance to eat here, you must. Plus the burgers they do on Friday will knock your socks off! Thank you so much for the great dining experience!

An inconspicuous gem nestled in old downtown Frisco.

Everything is made fresh from scratch; I was already making up my mind about this place when first served the bread and cherry bourbon jam with soft whipped butter. The mushroom soup was pureed and has a deep umami taste that you could not get tired of. The 44 steak was cooked to perfection (medium). This all ended with bread pudding topped with whipped marshmallow that was as delicate as whipped cream, and a scoop of ice cream on the side.

This is one of those places you keep in your back pocket if you want to impress a date or friends with your knowledge of hidden local gems (aura farming).

This place was absolutely amazing. Farm to table style restaurant with an awesome homey setting. Our server was very amazing and attentive and overall the food was absolutely delicious. The perfect environment for a beautiful date night. We got there a bit early so there weren’t many people at first, but as others began to arrive, it didn’t get very loud which is a big plus!

The water was not the best, it seems they may need a better water filter as there was a high chlorine odor and taste.

Overall, I would certainly recommend adding this spot to your list of places to check out for a amazing dinner!
