Service was mediocre and the food was worse. Especially considering the price.
The poke appetizer isn’t anything like actual poke and tasted gross. The fish wasn’t fresh at all and tasted old. Tried to return it but they said we ate too much of it but we barely had any because it was hardly edible.
The teppanyaki cook was nice but he was very sloppy and overcooked my steak until it was super tough. Ordered medium rare but it was more than well done.
Overpriced. Bad food. Poor service.
I definitely would not come here again.

Kevin was awesome!! Did stuff I hadn’t seen before! Food was great too. The issue is the ambience. The lights are super bright. Hopefully they will change it up. Easy to get in to eat though. These type of spots are typically super busy.

I have been here several times. Great service and food. Was originally here for big birthday party and had a fabulous time. Continued to come here with friends and by myself when in town. They treat you like family.
Lunch service today was very slow. Despite the fact my friend and I were the only in the restaurant it took 30 min to get out check.
Think I will stick with the dinner service.

We normally love this place. Great for kids and a better value than something like Benihana.
But on this visit, we came because they were having a “kids eat free” promotion, which they texted out. Only once you get there, they tell you that in order to get the free kids meal (value=$12), you have to order 2 large alcoholic beverages (cost=$20-$25). Felt very taken advantage of, don’t fall for it!
Also, on this visit we had some kitchen issues and didn’t eat for over an hour after we got there … a bit rough with 3 kids in tow!

The bartender was very charismatic and helpful in my selections. The pricing was very reasonable, the food was delicious and delivered quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone because of the available professional atmosphere but you can still hear the families laughing in the background.

My wife and I found this place years ago. I can’t recall if it’s still the same name or owners. but regardless, if you want tepenyaki , this is my favorite place in North county.
every place has the show at the table, but this place seems to always have something new. my kids were so intrigued and loved the show.
As for the food, it’s great. the sushi is very well prepared and has excellent flavor. The filet and scallops are also to die for. the steak is so tender and the scallops get cooked with a nice crust.

Went on mother’s Day and was hoping to get a reservation at Benihana but no luck! I’m so glad we didn’t! This place was so good and we didn’t have to fight the crowds. Fast friendly service and delicious meal! We will come here from now on for our teppinyaki cravings!

Incredibly talented chef and unique menu items. The teppan grill is really good so and fun. Great family or date atmosphere. It’s great for groups as they have a huge restaurant.
