I had such a wonderful experience here. My family and I were walking Oneonta on a beautiful chilly day and decided to stop by. What a great decision that was. I felt slightly guilty for walking in 20 minutes before close but they were so kind and hospitable.i got the ribeye sandwich. All of the food was incredible. The homestyle food is made with love and that’s a rare thing nowadays. I can’t recommend this place enough! Praise to the Lunch Box

Have ate several times there, tried several sandwiches that I thought were good. I would recommend the Cuban along with a variety of drinks they stock. Though small, its a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal.

This is a fantastic hole in the wall place which everyone knows these kind of places always have the best food. Tasted really great and very fair price for all the food you get. We ate lunch and went back in and ordered something else to take home for dinner. They have a great atmosphere outside where you can just hang out and eat and they have great music playing. Their fries are not regular fries they are more like mini wedges with the perfect amount of seasoning. Highly recommend and will be back often.

Enjoyed the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and squash. Everything was very good, they had good sized portions and fair prices. Left very satisfied and hope to be back to try other offerings.

I just can’t say enough! I had to go to Oneonta for work and ran across The Lunch Box. Today’s special was roast beef and cheddar sandwiches. Sounded good to me. Baby Girl took it in stride. I can’t believe I didn’t get the name of the friendly lady that made my sandwich but she was right on point. Right down to the to-go bowl of water for Baby Girl. I do not regret this stop at all, in fact I see me and Baby Girl just wondering back one day. Thank you kind lady you are definitely doing it right!

Killer scratch made food. Biscuits 10/10. So many options. Homemade baked goods. Sandwiches and soups on the menu. This is all fresh and delicious. Don’t expect ambiance. This is about good, local cooking and quick service. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. Absolutely go here. Killer value.
