I just want to say a huge THANKS to the staff of Harter Bakery in Arnold, MO!!!! My sister and I were so pleased with their services, from the start of the meeting for the cake design and through picking up the 2 tier cake and accompanying cupcakes for our mom’s 75 birthday party. It was a beautiful cake and the guests could NOT stop raving about how delicious it tasted. Again, many thanks to Harter Bakery for everything!

First time getting a birthday cake from here and it was wonderful. Just like the cakes I had from the local bakeries where I grew up.
Support your local bakeries as much as possible. Grocery store bakeries are great in a pinch, but if you’re able to plan ahead, I highly recommend going with a local bakery. The cakes taste so much better and worth the price.

Everything they make here is pure PERFECTION!! My family lives in the area and anytime I come to visit them, I make it a point to come here every single time. The cookies are always fresh and taste sooooo good. Their cakes and cupcakes are high quality and the flavor is amazing. Everything stays fresh for a few days which is great because I usually buy a bunch and take it back home to Nebraska with me and it will be fresh days later. All of the prices are sooo reasonable for the quality. I think the cookies are like $2 each? Maybe even cheaper! If you’re looking for a birthday cake or just a sweet treat, I highly recommend this place, it never disappoints!!

There were some sweet girls working today when I went. The one that helped me was so friendly and had so much patience while I asked a million questions. The manager and I had a good laugh about the message on my cake because it said “It’s a Boy”. She she made it look so beautiful!! I got it for my girlfriend who definitely doesn’t want kids and neither do I. I already ate my chocolate chip cookie and just had a piece of the cake as well. O my gosh! This place gets an A+ from me. I have a major sweet tooth and a lot of experience visiting bakeries. They are killing it!! Thank you all for the delicious treats!!

I always try to support small, local businesses. We’ve done business with this bakery for years, but that has come to an end with Harters. I vote with my dollar, and I will now vote against this place every chance I get. In today’s “not my problem / don’t care” era of poor attitude, my experience with Harters is that they fully embody that mindset. Poor delivery and rude service.

I have been coming here for cakes and cookies since moving to south county, (almost 5 years) and they are so delicious and pretty!! My family almost never even orders custom cakes because their premade designs are too perfect and they write any message you want at no added cost which is really handy and generous. The best time to visit is around any holiday big or small because they have the most festive cake designs. Also they have more cake sizes than other places, particularly the 1/8th and super small ones are perfect for celebrating a special occasion with just small group/couple. This place is truly a gem and I can’t rave enough about their work!

Was kind of disappointed usually have great service great atmosphere warm responses not this time the person I interacted with didn’t even acknowledge me. I wish her a happy Valentine’s Day. She doesn’t look at me like I was a zombie. I don’t think I’ll come back really bother me that this younger generation seems to hate older people. I’m not even that old.

So I’ve never been here before but heard good things about the establishment. I don’t know what kind of people they hire but this one girl got pissed off that I didn’t know how many I would get after I said “some” twice after she asked how many. I don’t know if it was just a busy day but the service was ridiculous. I know this will be buried but I expected better. I’ve gone to other bakeries who show kindness and are proud that I bought from them but this is just uncalled for.
