I really, really miss a good Brooklyn style pizza and out of all the places I’ve been to that serve “New York style” pizza in the Phoenix metro area this is actually the very best and closest thing that you’ll get to it out here. It’s my favorite pizza place and the price per slice is really cheap (think Costco hotdog type of cheap) and they have other Italian dishes too. I’ve also had the stuffed manicotti and it’s delicious.
Be prepared…this is more of a takeout place as they only have a few seats inside along the counter. Sometimes there’s a wait for your order but it’s very much worth it.

Wonderful pizza! The crust is on the thinner side and crispy but also chewy! Great flavor. The sauce is superb! I loved it. It’s basically carry out but they have a few tables outside which is what we did. The weather was perfect for eating outside on January 31st

So this afternoon I had a taste for pizza driving down Indian School road. So I looked on here for a nearby pizza place. I had a taste for pizza and wings.
As I found this restaurant looked on the reviews there were some good reviews for the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. So I ordered two slices with tomato on it. 6 wings medium buffalo sauce. Decided to get fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli to go. It smelled good as I got into the car and I took a bite. Then a few more bites and couldn’t stop.
I had already eaten the two slices and wings inside the pizza was good the end crust could have been a little bit bigger. The wings had a really nice taste with a little bit of crisp to them.
But that fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. As a New York Italian I could tell they put some love into that sauce. You could taste the broccoli was cooked in that sauce for a while rather than some places just throw it and cooked. I will be back and tear it up again. Lol thank you guys. And the girl that was working the counter was very friendly.

We finally made it in and were surprised to find a menu beyond just pizza. We ordered a 16” pepperoni and mushroom pizza, it was delicious! I would say it is a NY style slice, it’s got a good crust for sturdiness but is is not as thick as a barros or Pizza Hut hand tossed, more like Venezia’s. Service was friendly and quick, he told us 20-25 minutes and turned it around in about 13 minutes. I also ordered a cannoli and it was amazing, among the best I have had. Cool little deli spot with outdoor seating. Definitely worth a stop if you like a traditional slice and/or a good cannoli.

It took a while to get our food this evening but it was Delicious as always. We ordered two slices, a few Alfredo and broccolis, spaghetti with meat ball and hot wings. It was about $91, WORTH IT
I didn’t care too much for the guy who took our order but he was training a young lady so hopefully the customer service and atmosphere is more inviting next time around, he’s rude.

The closest to New York I have found in phoenix. Service lovely as well. It got four stars for atmosphere because there is a little outdoor seating area but if it wasn’t for that it would have been a 3 haha

Service was quick and friendly. Ordered 2 slices of pepperoni. The crust was crispy enough to hold up & fold in half, which was good bc I don’t like a soggy crust. The cheese wasn’t melty, so the peperonis easily fell off. It could’ve been hotter, but tasted good at first. As it cooled, the crust became a little too hard. Maybe it would’ve been better if I had ordered a fresh whole pie? Value was decent though. I would like to give them another try with a fresh pizza vs. a slice that’s just warmed up upon ordering.

Went here based on Dave Portnoy review, definitely would not have tried without this recommendation as the area and building itself is a little sketchy, right next to small liquor store. 4 seats inside at small counter, 3 or so tables outside, wouldn’t recommend dine in, very small.
However the pizza was outstanding! Perfect thin crust, not floppy at all, flavors and crust crispiness was perfect. Sauce had great flavor and just the right amount of cheese. Had pepperoni and hatch green chile, one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Large pizza was huge.
Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to this same place since 2008. It stuck with me as being the best pizza ever. I was 9 then, and now I’m 26 and it’s still the best pizza. Definitely a little hidden gem, and 10000% worth it!!
