This is Long, because I want to be thorough.
I’m new to Kilgore, from the big city, and I admit I’m a bit of a coffee snob. At home we drink espresso brews, and I am accustomed to the coffee at a chain that is known for its very robust brew. I was a little concerned by reviews I read about the coffee at Memi D’s being weak or too sweet. I drove through the location in Liberty City. I ordered a simple mocha with whipped cream, a sausage breakfast burrito, and a lemon blueberry scone.
First, the coffee. It was Excellent. The brew was fresh and robust, the chocolate perfectly balanced, just the right amount of cream. Bravo!
The breakfast burrito was okay. It was warm and fresh, but not notable. Perfectly acceptable for a quick bite.
The scone was delicious! Pastries is where many quick-stop eateries disappoint, but I was delighted to find truly fresh-baked goods here. My scone was just a tiny bit under-baked, but that just proves that these are homemade goods. The biscuit was tender, crumbled perfectly, and was very flavorful.
Service was friendly and very efficient, prices about what I expected. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

DONT SKIP THIS DELICIOUS UNIQUELY HOMEMADE FOOD PLACE!!! Their chicken pecan cranberry salad on a croissant was absolutely DELICIOUS! It was also HUMONGOUS and was only about 8$! You get so much food for the price. The customer service was AMAZING as well and the lady was beyond nice and truly showed southern hospitality, their food is truly unique and no other place tastes close to them and I’ve lived in multiple states all over so this place is a very unique little hole in the wall, their food is unmatched and sooooo absolutely delicious, their customer service is so sweet and kind, they are cheaper and very greatly priced and you get LARGE portions for what you pay! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ♥️♥️♥️

Wow best place ever!!! We were traveling from dallas to Florida we stumbled across this cute coffee and eatery. Sweet ladies took our order even gave our dog a doggy treat. We had breakfast sausage wraps and biscuits. Mango smoothie and Cancun kicker, and the dirty Irish man all were amazing next time we pass by this will be our go to stop. Great place!

Love their seasonal lattes (and their carmel macchiatos) best way to start your day.
Add egg bites or a sandwich if you’re really hungry. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m really trying to like this place since I live close but the coffee here is just not making it for me. I have recently found another place that makes GREAT coffee. I did try Mimi’s again today cause I was in a hurry (the other place is farther away) but sadly it’s just not worth another visit after this one. I’d rather drive 10 minutes longer for great coffee vs a coffee that taste like syrup. With Mimi’s my latte is lacking that awesome coffee taste. It taste like there’s no coffee in it at all. The other place has a very good mixture of flavor and coffee and I can actually taste the coffee coming through instead of just milk and syrup flavor. They even look completely different. One is super pink (Mimi’s) and the other place is more brownish (coffee) pink (flavor). I took a picture of both because I actually wound up driving to the other place to get my latte but I can’t post the picture.
I’ve met people at the other place that used to go to Mimi’s and I’ve heard that they have other customers too that have migrated from Mimi’s over to this other place and I can see why. I’m sorry Mimi, I tried…, I do like your food, service and location tho. I really wanted to support y’all but I’m going to have to break up with you. I need a good consistant coffee in the morning and 10 more minutes extra drive time to the other place is worth it for me.

I love having Memi D’s second location right by my house! My favorite drink is their Jamaica-mon. Staff is super friendly. Fair prices on their drinks.

Absolutely love this place! Wide variety of drink and food options. I’ve tried their salads, flavored and sugar free coffee options, and scones. I have not had anything here I did not like. Service is always courteous and professional. So much better than Starbucks. I love to support our small town businesses.

I love this place! I get coffee there frequently because they have a huge selection of sugar-free coffee flavors. BUT I just tried them for lunch options and yummy. I did the Ruben sandwich, and I thought I was going to split it with a coworker to be nice, and as ashamed as I am, I ate all of it!

I ordered the cajun kicker and it was pretty good! It had cinnamon nutmeg and chocolate in it. I also had the breakfast wrap with potatoes, egg, cheese, sausage. It was ok. Wish i had salsa with it. I will visit them again!
