Justine’s is simply a must dine location when you are in Cobbleskill NY.
Service is warm and friendly.
The cuisine is breathtaking.
Portions are very generous and more than reasonably priced.
Chefs are trained by the owner who assures that every dish is prepared to his exacting specifications.
The owner prepares all the desert pies and cakes.
You simply must save room for the deserts.
Expect SRO most nights for dinner. Never hurts to see if you can snag a reservation.
Parking can be a challenge, so allow extra time.
Highly recommend.

Dining room was full but when we made a reservation they were able to still seat is in the foyer which has tables as well so that was nice.
Food is in heaping portions and fed us for days! Phenomenal for the price.
My parents love this place so we all went together. Everything looks amazing but in my personal opinion, does not taste as amazing as everyone’s reviews state. I should mention that being originally from this area, I’d probably given it 5 stars 5 years ago, but now that I live near NYC and have experienced many authentic Italian restaurants, some things just don’t compare anymore.
I’d say the best things I had here were hands down, the bread with parmesan and balsamic and the S’mores cheesecake. Oh my word was that cheesecake probably the best I’ve ever had! They somehow layered the mix-ins and every bite I got some goodies!
I personally got the penne al vodka with chicken and my chicken tasted old and my sauce was kind of thick and chunky rather than thin and creamy. I tried others’ dishes at the table… Cheese tortellini with broccoli wasn’t that cheesy and needed more parmesan, eggplant and regular rolatini’s needed more seasonings but the chicken parm with ricotta was pretty good.
One last comment I’d like to make was that the waiter compared their restaurant to The Bears Steakhouse. The only thing that makes these two restaurants like the Bears is their interior dining room design and the large portions but the quality, price and cuisine is nothing in comparison. I would come back here to get a nice full belly and a good time with family or friends, but do not expect authentic Italian.

One of my favorite spots to eat at. You feel as though you are eating at home. The ambience and decor was gorgeous weather permitting I would have loved to eat outside since it is so beautiful. Our server Lauren was amazing she was so kind, patient, and would come and refill our drinks throughout our meal. She answered any and all questions we had and was overall an amazing server, I have absolutely no complaints. The food there is amazing compared to what is usually offered in Cobleskill. The pasta was cooked perfectly, my only criticism is the sauce was a tiny bit watery at the bottom of the bowl but aside from that it was perfect and delicious.With an entree you get pasta plus side salad and garlic bread it’s impossible to eat it all since the portions are so huge. The manicotti was also cooked perfectly not overdone at all. The garlic bread was amazing and was topped with chopped garlic, parmesan cheese and a balsamic and oil mixture of sorts. I really loved eating here and would love to come back. To anyone coming to Cobleskill I highly recommend eating here.

The portions here are very large, more than enough for two people to share one order. The food was very good, and the bread was out of this world delicious. We were able to get a small table in a side room because there were just two of us, but larger groups should definitely call ahead as this place appears to be very popular.

We got the stuffed Sole which is a mix of stuffed scallops and crab that comes with pasta of your choice. It was the best seafood I had recently. Also had the chicken noodle soup and it was OK. You also get the salad and garlic bread, both are amazingly good. Portion size of the entree is humongous. Almost everyone walked out of the place with couple of boxes. The staff was friendly and knowledgeble enough to explain the specials. Highly recommend local place for anyone visiting the caverns like us!

Excellent food at a pretty reasonable price. Portions are crazy big so you really get 2 meals for the price of one! We make sure to stop here every time we are in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
