So so good!! My husband and I drove all the way from San Antonio to try Pan Pan. We arrived at about 2pm.
We were able to get our hands on some of the pastries (thankfully because I’ve heard they sell out fast). We got some matcha conchas, a coffee bun, and a kolache. As a Mexican, we were so impressed by the quality and flavor of each pastry. I wish we bought more! lol
We also ordered a arroz con leche latte and a cinnamon roll latte. I really wanted to try the cafe de olla latte, but unfortunately they were out. However, we had such exceptional customer service and the girl at the counter recommended us the cinnamon roll latte, which is closest to flavor to the cafe de olla latte. Both were absolutely delicious. The arroz con leche matcha latte was my favorite. It has little bits of rice that add that extra texture. Such a fun and unique experience! I wish we lived closer ❤️❤️❤️

Delicious and addicting treats to be found here! Loved all their breads, they have a great mix of savory, sweet and subtle sweet creations. The birria shio pan was our favorite!
Drinks are great too! Matcha lovers will love their offerings. As a coffee drinker, I loved their horchata latte and banana bread latte! 10/10 would recommend. ✨

Love a Mexican owned bussiness. The culture of Mexican Japanese infusion is there, their match drinks are great and the matcha concha is really good! The bread can be a bit on the pricer side but I think it’s worth it if you accompany a side of bakery item with your drink. The staff was wonderful and nice! They mentioned Tuesdays are their slow days so I would reccomend comming that day.

Pan Pan is an absolute MUST go! My friend and I saw the line a couple weeks and decided to make an adventure out of it. We showed up 25min before it opened and enjoyed their complimentary umbrellas provided for shade. They also set out chairs and ice cold water and cups for everyone. Inside the shop is adorable, very unique fusion of Japanese and Mexican culture with an immediate deliciously doughy smell. They have so many options but the jalapeño cheddar pan pan was SO good. Everything was super fluffy and fresh! I can’t wait to take my kids here but I really enjoyed picking out their after school surprise treats from such an interesting variety of flavors, textures, and artistic expression. It’s also fun bc you get your own wooden tray and metal tongs to load up on the way to check out. The everything bagel shio-pan with cream cheese smear was exactly what I hoped it would be, filling and easy to chew. Our sweet treats were soft and satisfying, never overpowered by any ingredient. I loved my double matcha latte with matcha cold foam, strong and creamy, soooo yum! My friend had the cinnamon roll latte over ice and enjoyed it so much. Loved that the kolaches had Pan Pan stamped on the tops and all their decorations. They are extremely hospitable and quick as possible with people flooding in and waiting in the outside line. Our whole adventure took 1 hr exactly and I would go back tomorrow if possible. It is so worth it!!

The matcha here is phenomenal – definitely the best I’ve ever had! I have tried the Banderita matcha and the cookie butter matcha. Both had great flavor and good quality matcha. The cookie butter matcha wasn’t overly sweet which I appreciated. The Banderita matcha had very fresh strawberry puree with a yummy level of sweetness. I am already wanting to make another trip out here! I also enjoyed the jalepeno and cheese kolache from here. They have tons of pastries to choose from!

I’ve visited Pan Pan Bakery & Cafe three times now, and while my first two experiences were great, the consistency just isn’t there. I usually order the matcha, and the first two times it was delicious, but on my most recent visit it tasted like straight milk with barely any matcha flavor.
After waiting in line for 45 minutes in line and 10 minutes for my drinks, I expected more consistency in the drinks. It’s disappointing when the quality changes so much from visit to visit. I really hope they work on being more consistent, because when it’s made right, it’s great.

Long line about a 30 minute wait. I only went once so i dont know if there is always a line.
The drinks are good but pricey. They use a LOT of ice in the drinks. The bread is good and buttery.
The staff was super friendly!

It was fine.
Drove two hours to her here and left feeling a bit disappointed.
Maybe if this is your intro to Mexican or Japanese bread and drinks, it is a good gateway. As a Mexican, I found the bread to be too dense. The flavor was there, but it didn’t feel like conchas—thick and heavy instead of light and airy. My wife is Asian and her remark was that the only Japanese aspect of this was the decor and that they put matcha on top of Mexican staples.
Maybe they were out, or I somehow missed them, but I didn’t see any Melonpan, Anpan, or Chocopan, which are all Japanese staples.
The Pan Pan latte was extremely weak and seemed to have no milk. The banana matcha drink was very good. Some items like the cinnamon roll didnt feel Mexican nor Japanese, but the cinnamon roll was actually delicious.
Good vibes and glad to see it was PACKED. I hope they continue to improve. Might try again in the future.

First time visit for us! Horchata Matcha Latte was wonderful! The ham and cheese shio was delicious. My daughters Raspberry Matcha was not as good, kinda bitter which was unexpected. We didn’t have to wait outside on this visit, but I understand they are often very busy with lines out the door. We will be back to try the other pastries and other drinks! Thank you for the experience!

The line was long, but I knew this before coming due to becoming viral. I spent 1 hr+ to get my order. I will say the matcha its okay, the service was good, but I do feel they where really slow. I just wanted to support local but this will be my last time here. Now, the baked goods are conchas and cookies and some other stuff. Just so you know conchas are $5, I only bought one to try. I wouldn’t recommend. I think it was $5 because of the filling but there was no filling in mine, but the prices are crazy for bread. The price of the lattes and drinks is $7 up and if you dont want ice they up charge $1.50 and light ice you get charged as well. The drink is going to cost $10 plus with add ons, more than a meal. Its a tiny spot, so I wouldnt recommend for studying since it gets super packed and loud.
