Q is very tender and sauce is one of the best in the 903
I’d prefer more of a smoke ring on the brisket but man it was cooked to perfection (sorry ’bout the four stars but I like it smoky) the okra is fang awesome
we got on the outside of a great meal. great spot for a lunch in Town, we’ll be back
We enjoyed the gut bom(loaded potato), Q-fries and the 2 meat plate, with sausage and brisket-okra was fried to perfection. Brisket was tender, flavor was great.
Busy, but service was quick.
Right-sized servings, the made to order fried sides… SO YES, you’ll wait for some things. Not all meat selections available every day, which SHOULD be expected for location, location, location! The on-tap rootbear is SMOOTH and tasty (sassafrassey!)…ALTHOUGH, it should be served like an on-tap craft beer in a frosty glass and NOT in styrofoam crap-cup, imho.
I had the turkey on a bun with fries. Just a heads up that there’s a little spice to the fries, in case you’re ordering for kids. Maybe you can get them without the heat but you’ll need to ask. Atmosphere was very friendly and casual. This would be a great place to just hang out and have a few beers too. We will definitely be back. My friend said the wings on Wednesday are excellent so we will try that next.
Sam is a phenomenal leader with a true gift for hospitality. Kori, Ben, Chris, and the entire crew have completely adopted me. I feel at home every time I pop into this lovely little restaurant and amazing beer garden.
Sam has a beautiful way of pairing meals with excellent spirits, and the care behind every detail truly shows. This place is more than a restaurant, it’s a community.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the meats, but if you’re there on a Friday or Saturday make sure to get some of the rib candy. It’s like jerky and Dr Pepper candy had a sweet and tender love child. Take advantage of their illicit union and put some in your belly!
