⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review

Honolulu Beerworks was an unexpected gem and turned out to be one of the most memorable brewery stops on our trip. Tucked back into a commercial area, you definitely start to wonder if you’re heading in the right direction—but that’s part of the fun. Just when you think you’ve taken a wrong turn, you come upon a spacious, inviting brewery that’s absolutely worth the hunt.

Once inside, the space opens up into a huge, open-air layout where you can see the full production side of the operation. Watching the brewing equipment in action adds a cool behind-the-scenes feel, almost like you’re getting a brewery tour while enjoying your beer. The atmosphere is laid-back, airy, and distinctly local, with plenty of space to spread out and soak in the vibe.

The beer itself was excellent. We enjoyed a pint and were impressed with the craftsmanship—clean, flavorful, and true to style. It’s the kind of beer that keeps you wanting to try more of the lineup on the next visit. The environment makes it easy to relax, chat, and just enjoy being in such a unique setting.

Even though it’s hidden away, the brewery has a charm that makes it feel like you’ve discovered a local secret. Friendly service, a fun atmosphere, and great beer all come together perfectly. If you’re exploring Honolulu and love checking out local breweries, Honolulu Beerworks is absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommended!

Stopped by, straight from the airport, in need of a good beer! Actually 2!!
Not in a tourist area and apparently recentyl moved into this new location. Good selection of beers and well brewed, including a coconut Hefeweizen. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Bar seems to full up quickly and in the back there are tables and bar stools facing the production floor.
They were not serving food at this time, just finger food. In the parking lot there was a food stand with local food offering. I’ll go back for a beer before flying out.

Great food and tasty food at this great local brewery! They have a wide selection of beers, so I highly recommend getting a flight to taste as many styles as possible. The food menu is relatively small, but the food we got was very good. I definitely recommend trying the reuben sandwich. Service was super friendly and speedy. The location is in an industrial area, but it’s a cool space with an open air concept and a small outdoor patio. Unfortunately parking is pretty limited in the area.

My wife and I visited Honolulu Beerworks on 10/13/22. It was a Thursday afternoon and the place was pretty low key…Just what we were looking for! The beer was solid and the atmosphere very chill.

The staff were friendly and made sure our glasses never went empty. It was the perfect place to get out of the sun after walking around and looking at the street art. I look forward to visiting again and checking out their live music.

We didn’t have anything to eat therefore I can’t comment on the food. I would recommend checking this place out! It’s located in an industrial type neighborhood which has really color murals all over the buildings. Get out, walk around, look at the street art, and stop in for a cold beer!

Bright, clean, no frills industrial tap room at the brewery right off Nimitz in Kalihi. Great beers. Friendly staff. Parking in front or on the street. I personally love the Cocoweizen, Pia Mahiai saison, and sunset cream ale.

Good vibes and great outdoor area for afternoon and evening drinks. Relaxed and comfortable but can get crowded sometimes.

The local beer is made there and the food is solid. Try the warm pretzels with beer cheese and mustard. Would recommend!

A pleasant surprise in an up-and-coming industrial area. Solid range of IPAs and other relatively easy drinkers (I recommend the Cocoweizen, a toasted coconut hefe). To-go 6-packs are cheap, too! Tasty food, including a unique and memorable app: edamame hummus. Lively on a recent weeknight. Cool local art for sale that is also integrated into their branding. Street parking was rough, but worth the hunt!

Really cool brewpub with delicious beers and food. Everyone is friendly. Trivia on Tuesday evenings. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving there, but you should be able to find a spot within a couple blocks and simply walk over. Worth it.
