I’m black & know good food. But I didn’t care for this place. First black lady that takes orders was very uninterested. The baked beans taste like pork & beans just added bbq sauce. They bbq sauce taste Asian tangy no bbq flavor. The ribs taste like straight thyme & the chicken tasted old dry & not season well. Only thing I like was the brisket. This wasn’t the place for me. Lacked flavor & seasonings.

Enjoy eating here! I did not take a picture of the cafeteria style seating long tables four of them pretty cool. We enjoy brisket, sausage and pulled pork.The mac and cheese with brisket in it and mac and cheese with pork in it are unique and yummy! The baked beans were very delicious and I also enjoyed collard greens spiced perfectly. The barbecue sauce is very unique I thought it had my molasses in it and some spice very good. All meats were dry rub and delicious I’ll be back!

The owner sat and chatted while I waited for my food. Friendly people with great food. I got the brisket plate, with pulled pork Mac and potato’s salad. Everything was delicious! I love supporting local businesses that care about what they do! Highly suggest this!

THE BEST BBQ IN PEARL RIVER COUNTY!!!! My personal favorites are the ribs, mac and cheese, baked beans and cole slaw. The cole slaw is my favorite side item. I have included several pictures which includes my meal, hours of operation and location. Thanks for all yall do Sho-Nuff Smokehouse!

This was some of the BEST BBQ I’ve ever had. The ribs had very good smoke and brisket was tender. The Turkey leg my daughter had was so tender and flavorful. And to top off the sauce was amazing. I’m typically a no sauce guy but when I tasted it in the fries I drenched everything on my plate with it, and purchases 2 bottles to take with me. I’m definitely recommend to others and will be going back.

Folks I kid you not. All the other barbecue restaurants that I have visit do not match up to this one. The food is great. My favorite is the barbecue chicken plate with baked beans and coleslaw. The recipe is fantastic. Trust me folks you will love.

the woman taking orders was very rude and seemed extremely ungrateful for my business. she cut me off giving my order and raised her voice to tell me to slow down and give her one thing at a time when i’d only given her one singular item and was removing something from it. additionally, she would audibly “huff” under her breath to passively tell me that i was ordering too slowly after aggressively correcting me the first time and me trying to time verbalizing my order around her writing it down. despite all of that, she verbally asked me if i wanted to leave a tip after making me feel like a nuisance throughout that entire encounter. i’ve seen through enough of these awful encounters with her because i enjoyed their food and want to support local businesses but now im positive i wont be bringing my business there to them anymore. i dont expect the red carpet treatment, but i at least expect a pleasant experience; i have never once gotten that here from her. i’d give 0 stars if the system let me. would not recommend to anyone. the gentleman is excellent when he is there but that vile woman will never see another dollar of mine or anyone i know.
