I am writing this because I witnessed something Saturday, February 28 that really disturbed me. As my husband and I were walking in to dine, I overheard an employee speaking very harshly to seems to be a delivery driver.
An employee. I don’t have a name, but seems to be the only female staff member working at the time and I’ve seen her in there before. She seems to always have some type of attitude or just pissed to be there, but as far as I could tell was speaking in a very rude and degrading tone to the delivery person. I heard her say that she didn’t care how long the driver had been waiting at the front as she was bringing the food out, she appeared to slam it down on the counter. The delivery driver looked visibly shaken. From what I observed, the driver had simply been standing there waiting for their food and did not appear to be doing anything wrong when this employee came around the corner with the food.
As the, again I’m assuming delivery driver passed us leaving out their eyes was watery like they was about to literally start crying! Delivery drivers are helping support your business! I have personally ordered from here through delivery before, so it’s very upsetting to see the other side of what the drivers must go through here.
My husband and I stayed and ate, but the situation really stuck with me. I love this place and eat here often, which is why this was so disappointing to witness. I also don’t think the employee even noticed us standing there as she said that and immediately walked to the back. A nice gentleman came and set my husband and I, but no one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially someone who appeared to be calmly waiting to get their food!
I hope management looks into this. My husband and I were both witnesses and would be willing to provide more information if needed. We enjoy dining here and will continue to support the restaurant, but I hope situations like this are looked into so that everyone feels respected. Delivery drivers are people as well and deserve to be treated with the same courtesy as anyone else.

Highly recommend! Great food! Friendly atmosphere, family oriented. What a breath of fresh air, compared to so many others offering less for more and not as tasty. This place takes pride in what they do. Good job everyone. Thank you for such a lovely experience! I live in abilene but will definitely be back, when in the area!

Another little hidden place in Southlake with great food. The pizzas were very good with fresh and plentiful toppings. I have to ding them for not following the request to remove the onions and olives. I wasn’t willing to wait for another version. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu items will definitely have me coming back.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant for close to 30 years – most often around the turn of the century while working in Southlake, but continuing for decades afterwards for special occasions, most often for lunch. The menu items remained consistent from the late 1990’s at least through 2025 at our most recent visit. Staff has been so consistent that waitstaff still Sears us at “our table.” Cost has increased proportionately to every other restaurant in the area, and taste/quality of their food remains without blemish. Wish I could name one special dish, but I’ve had such good ones it is hard to name a favorite, except to omit one that could be your favorite. Definitely recommend trying what could become your favorite dish Rhat could keep you coming back, too, when you no longer work nearby.

I visited during lunch and was instantly hooked that I had to come back for dinner. This family-owned restaurant has been in business for 30 years! I love supporting local businesses. Remember it’s BYOB so bring your favorite wine to pair with your favorite Italian dish!

The food here is absolutely the best! Everything is made fresh daily. The owner is actively involved and ensures everything from the food to service as well as his entire team do a great job. Armend the owner plays a huge role in giving back to the community in every way possible. Anyone that I have brought here to eat absolutely love it. If you have not eaten here you are missing out!

Armend’s has the most delicious Italian food in a wonderful family atmosphere. We had a remodel and it was our #1 take out spot throughout. Our go to is the vodka pasta with chicken. The kids LOVE their meatballs. It’s BYOB with fantastic service when dining in. They also give a TON back to the local community and schools.

This place is delicious and a hidden gem most people probably don’t know about because it’s in Southlake. I’ve been in Dallas for a year now from the east coast and have had such a difficult time finding decent pizza or solid pasta dishes. You could only go so far in Dallas because the water but this place is on point.

Always love going to Armend’s. They have added gluten free pasta which made my wife smile. We had a party of about 20 and while the restaurant was busy, we still got great food and service.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday and it was not too busy. The service was prompt and friendly. The calamari was a little over done and chewy. The linguine with clams were delicious as well as the pizza. Would definitely visit again.
