Reviews
the service was great, staff was friendly & the sushi itself surpassed our expectations!
highly recommend the fire scallop roll & playgirl! if you’re looking for a good appetizer, we loved the crab rangoons.
I’ve been here several times, and in my world travels it is impossible to find good sushi and Korean delicacy in rural areas. But this is an absolute diamond in the rough.
I had their famous tower which by far worth its weight in gold in both flavor and price. I enjoyed checking out their off menu beverages which I posted a picture of some.
It is worth it to come here for every reason imaginable and all I ask is that you learn proper culture before making assumptions in your review. Places like this fall away and we lose gems because we don’t stand up for them when people who do not know foreign cultures take advantage and lie.
Please be proper and keep this beautiful resteraunt alive. I put my name behind it.
We settled in to some green tea and appetizers of deep fried squid and crab rangoon. By report the rangoon was fine; I did tast the squid and it was awfully rubbery. If they’re going to use those larger squid species instead of calamari, they probably need to get them tenderized. The dipping sauce was a bit underflavored.
My miso soup, on the other hand, was quite satisfactory.
The suchi was well made. I had the eel and cucumber roll, my wife the California roll, and the kid got one of their house specials. All were enjoyed thoroughly. I like to do a rotation when I eat sushi–one piece, then cleanse the palate with a sliver of pickled ginger, then clear that flavor with a sip of warm saké (recommende house saké was very good!), finish with a sip of tea, repeat. I was quite happy to have my favorite sushi roll in my preferred method.
Not the greatest sushi place ever, but certainly satisfactory–once you figure out what menu items are their best.
What attracted me to this restaurant was the Tower. It was so good! I could’ve just ordered it and would have been full! I did order two other rolls not knowing how big the tower was, but they were delicious! I ended up taking them home.
Highlander Roll & Shrimp Tempura Roll was what I ordered.
My husband ordered two rolls too and the lime on the James Bond Roll was the perfect touch! It was so refreshing, the other roll he ordered was Picasso Roll. I didn’t try it, but he said it was delicious as well.
I wish we lived closer cause it was such a great sushi experience and especially with the prices, we were very pleased by the quality and the taste of sushi.
The service was also very kind as well since our server was so sweet to my son.
Highly recommend checking this restaurant out! Half off sushi for dine in was such a nice perk!
We also got the Golbi Beef short ribs that came with soup and salad, the house dressing is savory and sweet, we even dipped some of our sushi in it, yum! We were shocked when we got our bill, it was much less than we predicted it would be, almost all of our rolls were 50%off! I don’t know if we came during a Happy hour or just got lucky?! The server and staff were very nice. Restaurant was clean and free of clutter. Plenty of parking.
Highly recommend and we will be back to try more of the vast selection of sushi!
