Nice looking place. I went on a Sunday, which is their all-day happy hour (their happy hour is 4pm-6pm every other day). I ordered the happy-hour pair of pulled pork sliders for $7 and ordered a side of the cornbread at the regular price of $8. I was going to get the $7 tap Asahi, but they were out, so got a $5 bottled Modelo.

Sliders were good, but barely adequate in terms of the amount of meat. I guess you can’t expect much for $3.50 each. The regular, unhappy hour price is $16 for 4 of them. I think I would have preferred them supplying maybe twice the meat and making the regular plate $18 for 3 and the happy hour offering $10 for 2.

The cornbread was nice, somewhat dessert-like. Reminded me of a Filipino place in L.A. that does a fluffy, sweet cornbread. But the Chinese Cowboy version is much denser (good) and is piece is lightly grilled, then sparingly drizzled with a sweet miso-caramel sauce. I felt it was exactly the right amount of sauce.

This place is fun the name did get me
However The cowboy burger without the bacon was extremely good very flavorful moist Burger to bun ratio was great . Which was my husband‘s food? I should’ve got a burger too. I try their smoke brisket. Fried rice. If I have to rate this dish on a scale for one to 10 for me, it’s a four it smells really good, but it did not taste how he smelled. It had too many peas for my liking and some of the brisket was really dry and hard and not that much brisket more peas than meat
I love that they have live music

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Friendly staff too!!!

I need to come back and order more food but what we did have was delicious.

We ordered the brisket fried rice – totally a favorite. The fried egg on top was a killer touch that really made it amazing.

The popcorn chicken bites were super super tasty. Delicious sauce!

We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower. It too was delicious but I ate too much fried rice to really enjoy it.

Cocktails looked great – but we ordered beer and the it tasted wonderful in their awesome glasses.

Really sweet spot to hang out and chill with friends.

The atmosphere is hilarious. The idea of Chinese cowboy is so good. I think the food we tried was like from 4 and some 5s. My friends rated it overall like a 3 whereas I rate it a 4 for the food bc I see it as like this is bar food, they were probs evaluating as resturaunt food.

Burger ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– my boyfriend thought this was such a good burger
– I thought it was good but it was like a 4 to me
– the vegetables were really crisp
– the bacon was also cooked to perfection

Fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– the unexpected amazing hero of the meal
– we somehow really loved the fries

Gyro ⭐⭐⭐
– not my fave, I think the pita needed to be toasted
– was a little soggy to me
– my friend who also ordered it compared it to Taco Bell which I thought was wild, it was def better than that
– I think the Szechuan chili oil was way too dialed down, think like the la Croix of Szechuan chili oil
– I adore the idea tho

Super cute and cozy spot with great food. The live music was awesome and the whole place had a chill vibe—perfect for a date night and drinks with friends.
The food and drinks were amazing. I love the big shareable small plates. The dumplings, brisket fried rice, pulled pork brisket sliders, mac and cheese, and cauliflower were all super tasty. Definitely a must-try!

Dishes are more American bbq than Asian, chili was basically just some beans and meat without much sauce or flavor. Cocktails were ok. Crab Rangoon, fried green beans, and cornbread were quite good. Sandwiches were light on meat. Has a Beatles pinball machine and vending machine full of random fun trinkets.

Would recommend EEM for American bbq/asian fusion instead.

The food is good (and the meat tasty) but I expected more spice & flavor for a Chinese fusion place, so we added the szechaun chicken to our order which was the right decision and ended up being the star of the meal. If I ever return I’d go with the fried rice + the chicken hands down.

Went here with some friends and we loved it! The owner was our server and she was so nice and kind. The vibe is super chill and cute. Food and drinks were tasty. My favorite was the green beans but everything we got was good! They have some great happy hour options as well.

I went on an opening Monday,(4pm) and it was daaaaamn good. I really anticipated a long wait, but I ended up walking straight into the place and there were only employees. I chatted with the bartender about the menu and ended up with a Lychee cocktail of sorts. The Jade Rider. It has chili oil in it. Get it! Do the thing!

The bartender was so sweet and personable.

I ended up ordering some brisket sliders and a smaller plate of Mac & Cheese. The food was amazing. The brisket is great. I really would like to order more than appetizers. The menu is full of great options so it was hard to pick. Until next time!
