Stopped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised; didn’t try the food (while I did overhear lots of very positive comments from other patrons : ), but was greeted with an extensive bourbon list, comfy seating, and great music – that wasn’t too loud. Will return when in NuLu – which will likely be soon, as there’s so many interesting spots to check out.
The bartenders need some love, too – such professional and courteous service – from someone with lots of food service experience.
Also, excellent art selections on the hotel lobby walls.
Highly recommended.

They have a great selection of bourbon, just like any self-respecting high-end bar in Louisville should. There is also a nice TV for watching the game as well.

I’m sure your experience may vary, based on time of day, and day of the week. I’ve been there, a couple times, and my reviews would likely vary. But, depends what your looking for. Sometimes you want a sports bar, later maybe a something a little bit more intimate in setting.

This hotel bar has an incredible selection of bourbon, approximately 200 options. Along with many craft cocktails and a great food menu.

Very nice. Swanky even. I had the burger. It’s pretty great. The steak fries were seasoned well but more on the crunchy side than I like but the potato skins were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Sharon, the bartender was amazing. She was super friendly, gave us great drink, suggestions, and even gave us tips on Italy.!!! love her.

Onion rings are amazing, chips/fries were good and crispy, not oily, fish was alot better than I expected. It was really really good. Pretzel was amazing the butter was so good. Salt would have made the pretzel better but it was still great.
