Best value for seafood in the area. Crab and shrimp weren’t exactly the freshest I’ve ever had, but still acceptable for the money. The sausage was alright. The corn, potatoes, eggs, and old bay garlic butter were great! Service was very good and I received my meal in less than 10 minutes, which is very good! Atmosphere is fairly dark, and the booths are quite comfortable.

Disgraceful Treatment of a Loyal Regular
I have been a regular at Red Crab for a long time, but after tonight, I’m not sure I’ll ever be back. My party waited 45 minutes outside, only to find out the hostess had been seating people who arrived 20 minutes after us.
When I went in to check our status, the hostess was frazzled, rude, and repeatedly talked over me. When she finally realized her “mistake” of giving our spot away, she tried to force us into a booth. I had specifically requested a table at check-in because we are heavy-set individuals and a booth is not a viable or comfortable option for us.
Instead of fixing the error she made, she got angry with me and told me I’d just have to wait even longer. When I tried to speak to the manager/owner, the hostess became incredibly confrontational and tried to frame me as the aggressor for simply asking for the table I had already waited nearly an hour for.
We never got seated. We left hungry and insulted. It is incredibly disappointing to be a loyal customer and be treated like a nuisance because the staff couldn’t handle a busy night with basic professional courtesy. Management needs to address the attitude and incompetence at the front stand immediately.
UPDATE (Feb 18, 2026): It has now been several days and management has completely ignored my outreach. As a regular, I am stunned that a business would value a customer so little that they won’t even acknowledge a blatant service failure and staff hostility. Their silence confirms that the lack of professionalism starts at the top. I won’t be spending another dime here, and I’d suggest others look for a restaurant that actually respects its guests.

A hidden gem. We randomly decided to go for Mother’s Day dinner, and we were so pleased. We all ordered boils. The crab was easy to pull out, huge lumps of it. Everything was tender and well seasoned in the meat. We didn’t wait at all for our food on a busy night. Kylie was our guide/ server and she was the sweetest and extremely knowledgeable about how to order. Impeccable service. It’s honestly great deals and a cute lil bar too! 100/100

Every time we come here – we say it’s better than the last time. Tonight was no exception- every single piece of seafood was perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced and melt in your mouth. Add the potatoes, eggs and corn and its the perfect meal. Can’t wait to come back !

Not too bad! But to be fair we didn’t get a seafood boil and only got sides. My dad ordered the kids fish and chips which he said was good! Me and my mom shared fried shrimp which was very good! The calamari was also very tasty as well as the clam chowder. I would say the only one not so good was the fried oysters, they didn’t taste very fresh and were very dreaded.

When we arrived we were informed they had a power outage. That makes you nervous right away but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we were seated and waiting for our server we saw an ant crawling on the table. The pop machine was being worked on but we decided to risk that too, mistake! The chicken tenders and fries have NO TASTE. That was only thing we were comfortable trying since we had no idea how long the power had been out.
Again, big mistake. $18 for a plate of food that has zero flavor ♀️.
Server was great, very friendly. Sadly we won’t return because I have cardboard at home that probably has more flavor. And I got that free with my Amazon purchase.

The food was phenomenal. My wife and I just visited yesterday and we were able to split a low country boil and that was plenty for the two of us! The service was great and it’s a cute restaurant. Definitely recommend to any seafood lovers.
