Great breakfast spot! Went to Twisted Waffles and really enjoyed everything. The Mid City Bowl with scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, onions, bell peppers, and cheese was delicious and very filling. The cappuccinos were excellent too. It’s more on the expensive side, but the quality, portion size, and service make it worth it. Fast, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back! ☕

The food was delicious! My son loved the Cookie Monster waffle. I ordered the chicken eggs Benedict waffles. My family ordered the breakfast sampler, crab cake Benedict, and vegetarian waffle bowl. The second time we went I ordered the same but unfortunately my poached eggs were not runny. The wait to be seated took longer as usual but our waitress, Cadrienne did her job so gracefully. She was friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you, Cadrienne!

We tried this place because they had gluten-free options. Online, it said the waffles were $10.50-$11.50 each. At the location, they were $20!!!
In addition, our family has several food allergies. We learned that they only had one fryer, so the gluten-free items were fried with the others. In addition, some of us have Alpha-Gal and the beef and pork were fried with the chicken. Another is allergic to seafood and the seafood was fried with everything else. So, we were all limited to a $20 waffle with a side of fruit.
The coffee was delicious!
The waitress was genuine and pleasant. We enjoyed her service.
However, despite the emptiness of the restaurant, our four waffles came out with the gluten-free one first, then two other plates, finally followed by the last plate. Never have I had four orders arrive so spread out.
I wouldn’t recommend, but that’s just me. I would’ve enjoyed the waffle at the online posted price, but it wasn’t, in my opinion, worth $20.

Stopped here after the greasing of the poles the Friday of Mardi Gras. They had only two bartenders who were also doing the bar menu service and they could not keep up. People who arrived after me sitting at tables got their orders taken and had their food before my drink order was even taken. I was really looking forward to the sweet potato waffles but was served the caramel apple waffle from their food runner who tried to give me every dish that came out of the kitchen. But I was so hungry by then I just ate it. The staff tried but were absolutely overwhelmed.

Visiting from out of town, Food and Taste were both good. Service from entire staff was on point. Everyone made you feel invited. Wait time was a little bit longer due to seating changes at the restaurant. Will return next time in town.

We stayed at the Chateau le Moyne so we had vouchers for breakfast. The food was really delicious and the waffles were fluffy and flavourful. It was convenient because of the hotel stay, but I would come again for the food.

I went for breakfast on a Sunday and it was fairly busy. I didn’t wait to be seated but the people who were coming in after did. I tried a strawberry waffle with chicken and I did enjoy it. My favorite was the beignets. I would say what I had was worth the price.

Best Food around.
They cook to perfection. Everything is homemade, even their secret spice recipe.
She is working on packaging her own spices for retail.
Keep an Eye on Twisted Waffles Nola.
They’re going to be famous!!!!

Our family stayed at Holiday Inn French Quarter-Chateau Lemoyne and were given a $15 voucher to Twisted Waffle. We went in knowing it was an overpriced tourist place, but it’s connected to the hotel and convenient. We initially tried to eat there the night we checked in, but they closed earlier than the hours posted on google. We ended up eating breakfast there the next morning. While the atmosphere is nice and the food was tasty, we were displeased with the service. There were only 4 seated tables, so they were not overly busy and it took an incredibly long time to get our food. We literally saw our server 3 times. She took our order, delivered our food, and brought an electronic device for us to check out on. Someone else brought our drinks and my daughter never even received the cranberry juice she ordered. We were not given an itemized bill and the device to pay was left at our table already pulled up to card payment, however the price did not seem correct and I thought maybe the server had forgotten to apply our voucher. I was shocked to see a $15 “fee” added. I flagged a server and questioned the “fee” and I was told it was taxes and tip. I pointed out that taxes were itemized on another line. She then said it’s the gratuity because people weren’t tipping them. So gratuity is included, fine. I proceed back to pay and the electronic device prompted me to tip again. So these folks aren’t telling you they’re adding gratuity then requesting it after it’s already added. They’re double dipping. I did not leave extra since they were already charging (I think it was 20%). Good tips come from good service. My husband and I have both worked in food service and we tip well, however we absolutely will not tip more than 20 percent for subpar service. If they aren’t getting tips it’s because the service like we received is poor. Due to dishonest practices like this, I would not recommend Twisted Waffle. The food was good, but it’s wasn’t worth what we ended up paying (almost $70 for two adults and a child).

Carmel apple waffles were great. Pretty short staffed in the front this morning. Kitchen staff was very friendly and helpful.
Ok, but not great.
