Pretty spacious sushi spot. They have so many choices and other entrees. The prices are fair too. Quality is up to par with other mid sushi places. They have a lunch special which I did get to partake in due to the time.
I got the takumi it was interesting with the roe on top of the rolls. I feel like it was a little too much as I took a bite some of it would just fall off. However, it does make it look nice.
I also got the Louisiana roll. I didn’t feel like it was anything special. No flavors jumped out to me.
I was the only one there so the service was fine. I went at 3pm just passed the cut off of the lunch special time.

I ordered for pickup, I took it home and put on my favorite show and WOW. The flavor is really good! I ordered the orange chicken, got the rice and hot and sour soup. Plenty of flavor.
The orange chicken is nice and juicy and the portions are really good! Really good orange zesty flavor and I LOVE the sauce. It’s not too spicy at all, believe me this dish is wonderful! The rice is flavorful too, I got chicken fried rice, not dried out like some places. The soup was really good as well, last time I’ve had soup like this was years ago, plenty of flavor and the right amount of spice.
If you want a brand new place to try out and the price is affordable I really do highly recommend takumi, I’ve heard it through friends and it didn’t disappoint.
My food was ready in about 10 minutes from when I placed an order on the phone. Some of the best Asian cuisine I’ve had in a while, I will be coming back to this spot from now on.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. We normally order the bento box but we were craving Chinese food and decided to order something different. We are very glad we did, honestly this place is perfect for date night or for grabbing lunch with friends. The service is always great and attentive. The food is honestly full of flavor and we have yet to try something we didn’t like.

It was very quiet inside and not many people. Service was great and prompt. The fish was good and we didn’t have any issues.
While it’s not a top sushi spot I’d recommend. The meals are priced right and quality was good for the price. Don’t think there’s another in the area that compares.
So if you’re in search for a sushi spot and live in the area, this is a spot for you to give a try.

The Chef Specialty sushi threw me. I was surprised!! We like jalapeños and spice in our rolls. These had the PERFECT kick for these Texans! Only thing is that it was a bit warm in the restaurant along with the atmosphere being a bit too dark. Overall the food was REALLY GOOD!

I stopped here on 4/27/19 with my daughter specifically to let her try sushi. The staff, waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. There wasn’t a long wait at all and the food was fine. I wished the table areas had been a bit cleaner because there were no guests there so I feel it could have been a bit more tidy. It wasn’t crowded at all and the prices were very affordable. I may not be dining here again but it was a decent restaurant and in a great area, not far at all.

We went for a family dinner at 6 PM on a weekday, and even though the place seemed a little bit quiet when we immediately walked in, we could see there were groups on the other side of the wall and one group not far from us. By the time we left, it was getting pretty crowded and I’m not surprised. Absolutely delicious food and something for everybody. Our favorites were the house special fried rice And the shaggy dog roll. The sizzling beef platter was a little salty to taste, but the presentation and flavor were great. The Bento box teriyaki was decent but not the best I’ve had. We had a wonderful dinner with great service and we will definitely be back. It’s also great to have some thing on this side of town where there’s not a lot of sitdown restaurants.

My family and I absolutely love coming to Takumi! Great food and service with kind people. I highly recommend the Texas roll. A deep fried sushi roll that is my all time favorite! Highly recommend.
