What a great place to eat. I had the birria and my husband had the chorizo platter. So delicious
I should have taken a picture at the beginning. Yummy.

We had a Country Boy Omelet on a bed of hashbrowns and Corned Beef and Hash. The Corned Beef is made in-house and was excellent. Their house-made green chile sauce is good too.

Super quaint and full of charm, this breakfast spot is one you’re definitely going to want to try. The servers are absolutely the sweetest, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming.

I had the chilaquiles—perfectly done and packed with flavor. My dining buddy went for his usual: eggs Benedict with a side of bacon (because, of course). No complaints from either of us—just clean plates and happy bellies!

The food has a pronounced lack of flavor.
The poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were just shy of fully cooked (calling them jammy would be a stretch) and the hollandaise sauce was…chunky, and oddly spicy. It tasted like they had used a spicy mustard rather than a Dijon, which to be fair distracted from the chunks.
The burrito was so bland, like not even salt and pepper were used, there was a hit of flavor when the onions, peppers, and cheese were reached, but that was only a bite and a half. I also completely forgot there was a meat in there too. Nothing was cooked long enough to get any flavor. It was unseasoned potatoes and eggs with a small garnish inside.
The pancakes bounced when a piece fell off my fork, enough said about that.
The staff is friendly but very busy.
The whole place is dark, anyone you’re trying to have a conversation with while facing the window will have their face in shadow.
Bland, dark and meh.

4/12/25: Short version – it was most definitely not the worst place we have eaten, but it most definitely could have been better.

Longer version – The strawberry lemonade tasted like Kool-Aid, with a strawberry or two tossed in; the hazelnut banana crepe had too much Nutella on it for such a thin crepe, plus the crepe was thin, which means it had some crispy parts. Crepes are not supposed to be crispy.

My sister’s tropical French toast was described as having “cream cheese & mango stuffed…” Neither of us tasted much of the cream cheese, it was more some ooey, gooey, sugary knock-off that did not taste well at all. Usually we are pretty good about eating our leftovers, but I notice the other half of this remains in the fridge … will likely make it into our compost bin.

There was no sign upon walking in (do we wait to be seated or seat ourselves?) so we just walked in & sat. There were a few tables that needed desperate bussing, the decor was decent. It’s not a large place, chairs were uncomfortable, but there is plenty of parking.

Our server, Perla, was fairly quick so kudos to her, and to the chefs for getting everything made so quickly. But despite this, still probably won’t have a return visit, not with so many other superb options for crepes.

It is very quiet and cozy, and their is a variety of food to choose from. I wish their banana nut waffle could be offered on a pnacake. The price is average and the food is good. The waitresses were friendly and fast. I would have given a 5 on the atmosphere, but the floor needed a quick sweep in certain areas. Otherwise it was nice.

The food was good. The prices are spot on. I had the chicken fried steak and it was hot n crispy. The gravy was just the right thickness. My wife had the avocado toast dish. This dish was fine but there was mold on the sour dough bread. We brought it up to the young man who took our order and he did a bit of arguing
about how it wasn’t. We showed him and he said it was from the grill stain but it’s toast I replied. He also pushed back a little when we requested it be redone. We said just the toast not the whole plate. I also let him know we didn’t want to argue over it. They redid the plate but he also came out with the loaf of sourdough bread they used and still argued about the bread. The place was clean but not inviting. 3 stars is for the food and the missing 2 stars is for the customer service.

This is our favorite breakfast place. Low key atmosphere with really good home cooking. Not a bougie trendy spot. Just good people with good traditional food.

Ordered the crispy chicken Benedict and blueberry pancakes. Both highly recommended by staff. Both were average cafeteria food. I would not recommend this place or come again. The eggs had a funny taste. The gravy was bland and had too much corn starch. The crispy chicken was just over cooked grilled chicken. The Dr Pepper had a funny taste. The pancakes were just average. Nothing special. Can’t say I would want to eat here again.

First time here! 3.8-4 stars ….

Nice little place and the food was good. Service was good too.

We had the eggs Benedict, veggie omelette, and a kids pancake.

Pros: omelette wasn’t over cooked, which I’m usually afraid of cause I hate overcooked scrambled eggs. The side red potatoes were probably the best thing; get them instead of the hash browns. Kids smiley face pancake was good and I appreciated the effort to make it special.

Cons: coffee was very underwhelming. Poached eggs were over cooked. Hash browns were good but there weren’t a lot of them… Not that I need a lot, but I love a thick layer of hash browns with crispy a top and bottom. Should have gone for the red potatoes.
