I am from the Waco area, and my heart has been broken since the Taco Bueno there has been temporarily closed. I am such a huge fan of Taco Bueno, and was a regular in Waco! I came to Wacahachie for a day trip, and honestly based it around eating Taco bueno for lunch. The food is always so amazing, fresh and hot! The store was so clean, and I absolutely love the look of the newer stores! The hospitality was amazing always feel so welcomed when I come in! Also, who was going to tell me there was an app!?! Yup, DOWNLOADED!!!! I hope they reopen the Taco Bueno in Waco soon, but until then I will see yall soon!

Walked in dining room closed. Tables blocked each way in . Next went to order my food and the cashiers phone rings and he answered it. It was Mom he let her know he was taking an order but would get off soon and needed a ride or would walk. Took my order and it came out fast and cold. I asked the manager did she fry my Muchaco she said yes. I asked why was it cold? No answer. Looked over my food my Chilada was rolled really tight with nothing in it. At that point I ordered more meat and cheese. Worse experience ever. This location will never get another dime from me.

Started out with the cashier Tammy who seemed like she did NOT want to be there. Was very unfriendly in addressing me and did not seem to know the menu well. Then the Apple Pay and credit card machines didn’t work. Before I️ received my food, I️ was told that the rice was old and smelly? So they used different rice. Then they used the wrong meat on the bowl so we had to wait longer for them to make I️t correctly. While eating a worker mopped the floor ever so slowly right next to my friend and I️. Which was just uncomfortable. There was only us in the restaurant but the salsa stand was dirty and missing napkins. The food was alright, but the experience they offer was not good at all. I️ don’t see this restaurant lasting at this location very long.

I’ve visited this location a few days ago when I got off of work around 7 PM, and I left a little upset. When I drove up to the speaker the person who took my order was very kind, patient, and professional. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the person I was met with at the window. The man was impatient and was using a very passive aggressive tone while speaking to me and was mumbling ALOT. Although my food was out fast and it was very delicious, this is the first time i’ve been treated like this at this establishment when the rest of the staff are really kind.

Taco Bueno has been my favorite fast food place for many years, since the late 80’s. I was hungry, about to head back home, a 2 hour drive and there was Taco Bueno on the right side of the highway. I’ve eaten here several times and as always, the salsa bar was well stocked, the customer service was excellent, the food delicious! What else do you need?

This location is a hit or miss… mostly misses.
Most of the time the service is sub par. Orders are not correct. Staff can be rude or just lazy. Night shift doesn’t do a good job with anything. Food is over cooked, bland and dry. Sometimes they close early. The only thing that never disappoints me is the taco meat it’s always good!
Today we noticed that the menu prices skyrocketed! The food is not worth they charge now. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Taco Bueno used to be good food. Apparently it has changed. I ordered a Taco Salad, Taco, Bean Burrito and Coke. The only thing that was good was the coke. No utensils were put in the bag. I took a bite of each item and tossed each of them in the trash. Never again will I try Taco Bueno. It was terrible. What a waste of hard earned money.

This was by far the worst food we’ve ever received! My mucho nachos look like they’ve been sitting out for an hour at the least! All the chips are stale and mushy. Not one crunchy chip in site! The chips that look dry, you can’t even eat!

Went here tonight for the first time in a long time( as a result of past HORRIBLE service and bad food) and the customer Service and food was amazing!!! The lady that served me was named Kim and she was an absolute delight and I was very pleased with her customer service skill. I don’t know if they are under new management but I will be making Bueno in Waxahachie my new hot spot when I am craving TX mex! If you have had a bad experience here before, I promise, the recent improvements in service and quality of food are worth giving this place another shot! Why bueno team and Kim! Y’all rocked!
