I have been here several times over the past 6 months and I just went 3 days ago again. I had the chicken marsala which was very thin sauced and not a lot of flavor. We also got a side of meatballs which were pretty small and my husband got eggplant Parmesan, which he said the marinara sauce was very watery. Hopefully this is just a one-off. Looking at other recent reviews it looks like things need to improve.

Don’t let the name fool you! This is authentic ITALIAN CUISINE!
Matt’s is a small family run business and it certainly delievers great tasting comfort food at a fair price. My son and DIL took me here for dinner last night, at first I was skeptical because the name doesn’t sound Itialian, however it is close to home.
We had the Speghetti & Meatballs, Chicken Parm, Stromboli’, and even the Lasagna, and all were amazing, it was like our own little tour of Italy since the four of us were trying every dish together and may I just say MAMMA MIA!
OMG everything was so good, we had to try the desserts too, the Turtle Cheesecake and Tiramisu were the perfect finish to an amazing meal. I really like that Matt’s is a neighborhood restaurant with a “Welcome home” family feel to it. Our wait staff was very informative suggesting we all try different entrees and she couldn’t have been more correct.
What a wonderful experience, the food, our service staff, the atmosphere, and value everything here screams FAMILY!

I had the Artichoke Hearts as an appetizer and the Lasagna as my entrepreneur. Also ordered a Deluxe Pizza to take home for later. All were very outstanding! And the service was great as well. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my mother the next time. We are always looking for good Italian food and this was outstanding!

This was my third time going to this restaurant and I can honestly say it gets better every time. The owners have treated me like family and gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. The food was incredible as well as the service, I honestly cannot wait until I go back! And you must try the tiramisu, it is out of this world!

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant you will ever go to. To begin, it’s the perfect atmosphere, secondly the service is extremely fast. I personally ordered the tortellini bob and it was amazing. Not too strong and the perfect consistency. Our waitress is hands down the best ever. Her name is Avery. Very well mannered and wished me a happy birthday. This place is great.

Just moved into the area and wanted a good slice of pizza and man, Matt’s delivered. Best White Pizza ever! Savory but light. The lasagna, as my boyfriend said, “Not your mom’s lasagna but pretty darn close!”. The Meatball sub was amazing and was just as good the day after! Service was amazing and there were regulars at every other table. Can’t wait to go back and try some more meals!

Recently moved to the area, wife and I stopped in on a Thursday evening desiring to dine in. Found out no propane for pizza oven, so no pizzas available. We came back on Friday evening to order carry out. Discussed with hostess how Matt’s prepared their pizza crust and asked could it be more cooked/crispy as we dislike soft undercooked dough or a soggy pizza crust. No problem to crisp a bit was the response. We tried the lobster bisque, large shrimp pizza and tiramisu. The bisque was flavorless with shells in it that could have easily been filtered with a strainer. The shrimp pizza was also flavorless with a wet and soft crust. Then same with tiramisu, no flavor. We will continue looking elsewhere for our regular pizza joint.

We’ve been coming here for 20 years. Matts is a small local restaurant that hasn’t changed significantly in that time. There is a limited menu of baked dishes like chicken Parm and lasagna. plus entrees and pizza
service is always great. has a family feel. prices are very nominal. limited wine and drink offerings at good prices.
In my opinion they have a terrific red sauce so as much as I like some of the other offerings I almost always get pasta or chicken parm. Wife likes the marsala and we frequently get pizza.

Staff was friendly when placing order, I placed an order to go. Prices were reasonable. The bathrooms were not clean and smelled bad.
Ordered a personal 10in cheese pizza. It was just ok. Nothing special.
Ordered chicken marsala with a cesear side salad.
Food had hair in it (posted pic). “Found several small hairs like it was done on purpose.” The chicken looked nasty like it was boiled and smelled weird.
Salad was Not a cesear, no romaine lettuce , and the bread was rock hard.
Food went in the trash as I didn’t want to get sick.
Won’t go back. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just over living..
