What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the owners. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You don’t feel like just another customer—you feel like a guest. That warmth and attention to detail shows in everything, from the food to the atmosphere.
The place itself is clean, cozy, and inviting, with a vibe that makes you want to sit, talk, and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out. It’s the kind of spot you’re excited to recommend to friends because you know they’ll love it.
If you’re looking for real Egyptian food, great hospitality, and an overall amazing experience, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back—again and again.
No water offered. All other tables nobody had water. Mandatory gratuity on the tab.
The mint lemonade was not worth the price at all. $8 and if you get that same drink other places it tastes way more natural and made from legit ingredients.
The Mumbar I would not recommend. It tasted burnt like ash and was not worth it.
The lady who took the orders was nice. She did continuously try to upsell on items which was a little annoying.
Pretty sure there was an error on our bill because we walked out of there with a $100+ bill for two people. That’s River Oaks $$$ for a spot off deep Harwin with bars in the windows. Come on now.
We would not go back. It was fine to go once.
The service was exceptional: friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The décor was beautiful and inspired by ancient Egyptian culture, which made the whole experience even more special.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Egyptian food and a great atmosphere!
