About a year ago, I ordered a poke bowl from this place and they forgot to include the sauce. I figured mistakes happen, so I didn’t leave a review, but I also didn’t order again for a while. After some time, I decided to give it another try, thinking things would be better — but this time, the brown rice was undercooked and really hard. I ended up just eating the toppings.
There weren’t any customers in the store and several staff members were present, so I believe this kind of basic issue should’ve been caught. Someone in charge needs to take better care of quality control. This is the first time I’m writing a review like this, but if you’re charging money for food, the basics should at least be done properly.

Good poke, fish was fresh and portions generous.
You will need to pick the ingredients so be prepared to try new flavors.
The girls behind the counter were laughing and having fun which is cool with me but maybe not what everyone enjoys.

Definitely our favorite Poke spot in the Bay Area now! We ordered takeout today and we were beyond impressed. First, the spot is really quick and efficient; our mobile order was ready within 10 minutes during lunch time. In terms of the Poke itself, the salmon and signature mix were standouts for sure. All the fix-ins, sauces, and bases made for great dishes. For the price, quality, and portion size, this spot is definitely a must try. One slight recommendation for this spot is for them to add more sauce to orders, but otherwise everything was perfect.

It was OK, but the avocado was weird.. the whole poke bowl had kind of an off flavor to it and it didn’t seem like they took care in cutting up the vegetables. There were big unchewable pieces of onions and cucumber.

I had the most awkward experience today Saturday December 27th @5:35 pm. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted or acknowled by the employees. The lady in the front just stared at me for like a minute without asking anything. Then when I moved to the cash register to see if maybe I was at the wrong place she asked me If I was ready. Her attitude and facial expressions were very unwelcoming. Overall lack of basic customer service.

Mom and I have been here twice since it opened. Didn’t think I’d like raw fish but it really is delicious.
The reason for the -1 star is last time we came here mom really was really dissatisfied. We got the same size bowl with near same ingredients but my bowl looked significantly less. I was really hungry and didn’t want to go back to complain but I did take a picture before I dove in.
Even though we paid together we did not have the same server so perhaps they need to work on consistency???

If you’re in to eating raw fish same as sushi, this place serves fresh hand-picked bowl meal, where you can choose the topping over rice or noodles. I don’t usually eat raw fish but this place made me eat without doubt. Also has attractive walls designs.

the young lady with glasses scoffs and mutters “okay..” at me when im ordering. i thought she was having a bad day but this has happened multiple times. i say please and thank you and am not being rude at all. i dont appreciate the unwarranted attitude. i dont expect her to be happy but at least be neutral.

Delicious and fresh! My poke bowl had a generous ratio of fish to rice. The gomae sesame sauce had a rich flavor. Pricing was reasonable given the current economy ($15 for a bowl with 3 scoops of protein). This was one of the best poke bowls I’ve had in the Bay Area. Will definitely come back!
They also packed the poke in a paper box, which is a nice sustainable alternative to the plastic takeout containers.

Large bowl with 5 scoops of fish, all toppings.
Fish was very fresh, large portion and bowl was plenty to share between 2 people. A little too much sesame oil for me so I’ll request less next time.
