Loved the lumpia, Filipino BBQ Chicken Bahn Mi, and their Salad. Next time will try their sisig fries.

This place is off the chain amazing. When you walk in it’s clean and welcoming, the service was friendly and quick, and the food was out of this world. I got the BBQ chicken banh mi and lumpia, the sandwich was generous and the garnishes were fresh, while the lumpia was crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. I will absolutely be coming back, this is one of the best hidden gems I have found in the bay.

I had noon lunch with friends there today. It was marvelous!! The owner is very kind and rightly proud of his food/menu. Using turkey in lumpia is a risk, in my opinion, but he SOOO pulled it OFF. I had the pork belly with fries, and I was absolutely delighted! Everyone had something on the menu, and each of us was very happy!
Bravo!!

Chef Rene is one of the best business owners out there! He recently came to my school as a guest speaker for my club (Business & Entrepreneurship Club), where he shared his inspiring story in creating Thank Que Grill. He brought lumpia shanghai and turkey lumpia sliders, which were so delicious and showcased the traditional flavors and innovative twists Chef Rene brings to the table. I highly recommend Chef Rene and Thank Que Grill, and look forward to trying all of his dishes in the future!

The banhmi was really good but it’s also very expensive. Got the sisig fries as well can’t go wrong with that. Smells amazing and taste even better.

Was my first time in and I’ll just say I’m glad I went. The flavor on those Sisig fries was great and they know how to make crispy fries as well. Renee is a friendly guy and I feel he cooks with passion

Filipino Style Bahn Mi
I was delighted to find that the atchara was satisfyingly sour as one would expect it to be. It balanced out the sweet and salty bbq chicken with a healthy dose of cilantro.
The pork belly sigsig fries were phenomenal. A bite of crispy pork belly with every bite.
Ample parking, wonderful people, and they’ve put up a very nice patio with heaters and roof to keep the rain off. Great seating area for that after work beer.
Edit: After eating everyone on their menu, I can’t say which is currently my favorite. It’s that good!

We saw that this new Filipino Style BBQ place, featuring Bahn mi, lumpia, sisig fries and bowls, opened not far from our home in Alameda (is a quick trip past the park street bridge)! So we gave it a try! We shared the Turkey lumpia, and we both got the BBQ chicken bahn mi. Everything tasted good! I am thinking of trying their Turkey meat balls on my Bahn mi next time! The chicken was good, but the filling on that lumpia was also good, and I could see that being a good bahn mi filling! I would also like to try the sisig fries with pork belly, but my wife doesn’t eat pork, so I’ll have to commit to that being my meal one day!
My only criticism would be that the bahn might could use more filling. We both felt the bread to meat/ veggie ratio was slightly tilted towards the bread.
We both enjoyed Thank cue grill, and we will be back to try more of their food again!

This place is phenomenal. Simple menu of banh mi and bowls but they’re done perfectly. The owner and chef loves what he does and it shows. During my last visit I overhead him training a new employee with such a compassionate tone. This place deserves all the success!
