Relatively quick, but never flipped our blizzards, mine was melted already as it came out, and my wife’s had 2 pieces of strawberry in her whole blizzard, and it had hair in it??

I need to take a moment — no, a public service announcement — to shout out the DQ on Dorsett Road in Maryland Heights! Because listen… these people do NOT miss. I’ve been a few times now, and every single visit has been a 10/10, would-recommend-to-my-grandma experience.
The customer service? Immaculate. In a world where customer service is disappearing faster than my willpower around dessert, this place is out here thriving. Friendly, fast, and acting like they actually want you to be happy. Wild, right?
Now picture this: I’m feeling like absolute garbage today — the kind of “I need food or I might cry” energy. And when I feel like that, I need grease. I need comfort. I need fried hope. And DQ understood the assignment.
Those fries? Warm. Crispy. Little golden sticks of emotional support.
The chicken tenders dipped in gravy? LIFE-CHANGING. I took one bite and spiritually ascended.

My kids love the little train with the whistle that runs above the dining area…. it’s been broken for a long time. Used to be the only reason we took them here…. might be the only reason to stop coming here. Yes, silly, but my kid’s disappointment in the train not working is worth not coming here.

I stopped around 8pm, close to close, and was very surprised at the speed of service in the restaurant. David, the young man at the front of the house, was very professional and efficient in taking our order and getting our food out. Thank you for a good meal break after a long day! David did a very good job representing himself and his store.

Went into lobby to order a specific item, waited approximately 5-10 minutes, person working behind counter saw me, turned his back and was on his phone the entire time. Didn’t acknowledge me at all. I then went through the drive through, 4 cars ahead of me and the ladies working out in the cold had everyone served in under 3 minutes. Get and stay off your phone.

The drive thru went quickly, especially with 8 cars ahead of me. Good burger, fries were limp and warm, not edible. This was at dinner time, the fries should be fresh and hot. I’m sure they precooked and kept them warm, but, basically I paid $10 for a burger.

I don’t usually give ratings to fast food places because the best the can usually manage is “ok.” But this one was crowded with neighborhood folk, and the manager was manning the register and was very pleasant, and food was carried out to guests by name. All of the many guests were plainly enjoying their meals; there was even a toy locomotive on tracks running the perimeter of the ceiling! So while the McDonald’s a block away just put in a kiosk to eliminate staff, this place strives to retain a personal touch. I think that’s what people want. Bottom line: it’s still a fast food place so only 3 stars (good), but when I need a quick bite on the run, I’ll certainly come back to this place.

I enjoyed my visit to this location, but not quite five stars… First, the great! Our meals were yummy, exactly what we ordered, and completely reasonable in price.
The parking lot setup was a bit concerning – as another reviewer mentioned, you back up into the drive-thru route. However, it’s certainly still workable.
The main restaurant area was clean and well organized. Sadly, the model train that is supposed to travel on its track along the ceiling wasn’t working (wires and such dangled from a corner), so the train whistle button didn’t have much of a point for the kids. They did still have the play corner though (only one kind of toy, but plenty of it – pictured), and it appeared to be well kept up.

I ordered food from this location via Doordash. I got a chicken tender basket and thought everything was fine. I got to the bottom of the box after finishing the majority of the food to find a RAW uncooked tender sitting there. Touching all of my other food. I had no idea it was there as it was at the very bottom. I thought it was just undercooked a little until I looked further and saw it was raw and ice cold. Totally cross-contaminated my meal, and probably other customers’ too. I already feel sick to my stomach.
