Stopped here for lunch today on my drive back to Reno and it was one of those unexpected gems you’re really glad you found. I had the chance to meet Amir and his wife, and they were incredibly kind and welcoming — genuinely good people who clearly care about what they’re doing.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. Everything tasted authentic and homemade, not rushed or generic like so many places today. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish.
What made the visit stand out even more was the hospitality. Talking with Amir and his wife was a real joy, and the whole experience felt personal instead of just another quick stop for lunch.
If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t pass this place up. Great food, great people, and a place I’ll definitely be stopping at again next time I’m passing through.

I’ve been going to Persian kabab & grill for many years. The food is amazing and every time I walk into the restaurant, the room is filled with a delicious scent that makes me even more hungry. The service is great and I will always come back. The chef personally comes out of the kitchen and asks the customers how they like the food, which really goes out to show that he truly cares. Nargis and Amir are unbelievable. I love a family owned restaurant and I have had amazing Persian food across California, Seattle, Vancouver Canada and elsewhere. When I come to Sacramento for work, we make it a point to stop here EVERY time. Delicious, high-quality food. Prepared unbelievably well. Wow. All I can say.
The kashk-e-bademjaan is a MUST. Do not miss it.
I love the chicken sultani with beef koobideh. The rice has incredible flavor. And we ALWAYS get the Persian tea to sip on with the food. The Doogh (yogurt drink) always is a favorite if I have some room!

Their kabobs are incredibly fresh, juicy, and well-seasoned—I ordered the lamb and koobideh kabob, and both were outstanding. Plenty of parking is available, and the restroom was clean. **The food here is absolutely delicious and served in a true homemade style. The prices are remarkably better compared to other restaurants, especially when you consider the high quality of the ingredients. Everything is excellent and well-prepared. My son loves this place so much that he insists on coming every week to enjoy his favorite dish, the Soltani kebab.

Could easily get a 5 stars if they drop the price a little bit. Great food and an amazing tea. The owners are very nice, food quantity are OK… rice serving as any other restaurant are big serving but when it comes to the meat especially the beef dish Is very slim. They serve hummus with no bread and you will need to buy each bread piece at an additional price. I’m sure they can do better.
