Cozy, cumfy, and freaking delicious. The moist fatty brisket was loaded with flavor and melted in my mouth. The ribs were candied and wonderful as well. Gabriel took care of me real good this week(2nd stop this week).

So I’m really surprised that the one thing that will bring me back to this place is the Bread Pudding and Dewberry Cobbler! We’ve been making our way around Texas trying to find the best bbq. The brisket is okay. The jalapeño and cheese sausage has great flavor and spiciness. The ribs have good flavor but a little dry and I’m not so sure I didn’t get some from the previous day. Corn casserole was my favorite side. Then we get to the desserts! Do yourself a favor and have those first!!! They are awesome. Don’t take my opinion as fact and if you are in to bbq this place is worth trying for yourself. Prices are good!

The brisket was very tender and had a great taste of smoky flavor. The blackberry cobbler was ranked very high in my opinion as opposed to others I had at other restaurants. Will definitely go back and try their other offerings such as steak, chicken fried steak and hamburger.

No menu. Tried to order Sandwich and told to proceed to cashier but no menu at register. Very disorganized order system. Everything is backwards. Meat cutter very rude. The line is backwards. Try ordering a meal and cobbler. You have to back to beginning of the line to order cobbler. If you want fries then you wait 15 minutes for the order. Tables and chairs are greasy. Floor is slick. No diet drinks. No sugar free drinks. Utinsils are racked way over on the corner. Must wait for “salad bar” to move out of the way. Very disorganized serving line. The most difficult line I have ever seen.

Drove from College Station to finally check this place out. The menu is pretty extensive so if you are really hungry the choice is difficult. Being a Sunday evening, they seemed to be out of several items looking at the counter but what was there looked good. I went for the chicken fried chicken plate and my partner had the chicken fried stk sandwich. The chicken was huge, tender and good flavor. The steak sandwich was also very good. The service was great and the employees were very nice. I can’t wait to come back and try the jalapeño burger.

My family and I ate here 2 nights in a row because it was so good! We were visiting Navasota and this restaurant was right nearby. The staff help explain if you have questions, the restaurant is clean and great size and the prices are superb! Now for the food this should be on every persons, in the world, bucket list! The brisket is perfection, ribs, pulled pork, sausages are all AMAZING!! They have bbq sauce but you do not need it because all the meats are moist and wonderful! Reminded me of homemade bbq. The sides greenbeans, cowboy potatoes, fried okra, mac n chz, etc. are all so wonderful. Then there are the desserts! We tried blueberry cobbler, bread pudding and banana wafer pudding these desserts would bring peace to the world if we all ate them. We will visit every trip and tell others of this wonderful restaurant.

Food is delicious. Had to wait some time (15 mins) for the ribs to come out, only reason for the 4 stars on service. But other than that, food has always been excellent here.

Had the jalapeno ranch cheese burger. Absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The crispy fried onions and jalapenos were fantastic as well as the pepper jack cheese, jalapeno ranch sauce and the jalapeno cheese brioche bun. This thing was huge and delicious and the burger was cooked just right. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this place.

I frequented the Iola store for work. Four stars for the food, but also 4 stars because dessert doesn’t come with the lunch plate. Call me petty. The ribs are personal top 3 and the brisket comes either lean or “marbled” (brilliant marketing). The cowboy potatoes could be a meal on its own for me, I couldn’t stop

Advertised as a barbecue place. Inside menu showed Meat Baked potato cost $12, but they charged an additional $1 for beef. They don’t offer chicken for the baked potato, which is what I usually get, and they were out of pork, so you had to get beef. Had a sign in the store at the counter for a Philly CheeseSteak sandwich. Said it would take 1/2 hour to make, so I took the beef baked potato. It was luke warm, so when they added the really cold butter and sour cream….it was cold. Was going to eat in, but took it home to heat!!!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
