ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD. Prices are great too. EXTREMELY unfortunate that they’re being FORCED to close due to a commercial company demolishing the building and not giving the restaurant a choice to keep their location. They’re ALWAYS packed because the food here is incredible. After speaking with the managers here, they are looking for another location but are unsure of where they would be moving to at this point. They are telling everyone to follow them in Facebook as they will be updating their location, if and when they find one on their Facebook page.
Very sorry to see them go and extremely upsetting. If you ever get the chance to dine at Julian’s BBQ & Grill, take it, you WON’T be sorry.

Discovered this restaurant about a year ago and I have been coming here since. My job is about 10 minutes away and it is a great place to sit in and have a delicious meal while I’m On my lunch break. Not only is the food great, but the customer service is outstanding. I am always greeted with a friendly face and I love the fact that it is a family owned restaurant. I would definitely recommend this spot for any day of the week, with family, friends, or co-workers!

Great place with awesome food. Visited with a coworker the other day and we opted for the seafood options because of Lent. We got the jalapeno poppers for appetizers and shrimp lunch and the breaded catfish for main meal, everything was fresh and tasty. The owners were there when we went and they were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our time there. Can’t speak for the BBQ but overall great seafood options with reasonable prices.

The mozzarella sticks and french fries were good; unfortunately that’s where the goodness ends. We were a party of 6, and ordered various items: 1 lb of brisket, 2x pulled pork sandwiches, 1x pulled chicken sandwich, 1/2 rack of ribs.
The brisket was practically swimming in water, obviously pre-sliced and kept in a steam table tray. No flavor from any sort of rub. The meat was tough. Sliced way too thin which is a trick used to fake out an either under cooked, or overcooked brisket.
The pulled pork sandwiches were also void of any flavor aside from the sauce that they put on the sandwich.
The pulled chicken sandwich was absolutely disgusting. The meat was as tough as shoe leather, and literally swimming in sauce. No flavour at all again from the rubs they used, nor could you taste any sort of smoke from the pit they used.
The ribs were not cooked enough, very dry and tough.
It’s unfortunate that this was our experience when others seem to have had better ones. Perhaps an off day, but we will not be returning.

Really good BBQ in Elk Grove Village. Orders come out pretty quick, price seems good for the size of the meal you get. The 2 ladies at the register are very friendly, and that one brunette…wow!

Before I rate my meal, let me state, that I know that pork rib tips are not
the best cut of meat. So, with that said, today I ordered the rib tip lunch to go.
Unfortunately, it seemed that I was given nothing but the end cut of the tips, which were so dry, that I couldn’t chew them, In fact, after a couple of bites,
I just threw them away. Oh, the fries, they taste like they had been reheated
at least three times. They also went in the trash. Too bad, I haven’t been there in a long time. They use to be fairly good. Can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but leave the tips alone.
