I hate leaving a one star review because the food here is actually amazing, but the service was some of the worst I’ve experienced in a while. I came in and was seated right away and told the waitress it was my first time visiting. I expected maybe a quick explanation of the menu or some recommendations, but instead she simply said she would give me a moment to decide.
After a moment of looking at the menu she eventually came back and took my order, but then disappeared again. I sat there for quite a while with an empty drink and no sign of her. Eventually another employee brought my food and even refilled my drink while my waitress was nowhere to be found.
Only after the food had already arrived did the waitress finally come back and ask how the pizza was.
Now the frustrating part is that the food was absolutely fantastic. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I ordered a medium buttery crust cheese pizza and expected the crust to be heavy, but it was actually light, soft, and fluffy. It was honestly one of the better pizzas I’ve had recently. I also ordered French fries which were good but could have been cooked a little longer, along with an Arnold Palmer for my drink.
I had high hopes for this place because the food quality is great and it seems like it could be a perfect spot for lunch meetings or dinner dates. Unfortunately the lack of service really hurt the experience. The kitchen is clearly doing their job well, but the front of house staff needs better training and attention to guests instead of everyone standing around folding pizza boxes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vero Chicago Pizza while in the Gilbert area for a listing appointment. With a bit of time to spare before my 2:30 PM meeting, I was excited to discover this nearby gem.
Arriving around 1:30 PM on a Tuesday, I noticed the restaurant was quite peaceful, which added to its charm. I decided to try the Beef extra hot with onion rings instead of fries. The Italian Beef was absolutely delightful, with tender beef that melted in my mouth. Just a heads up—the giardiniera packs a spicy punch, adding a wonderful kick to the dish! The onion rings were crispy and delicious, complementing my meal perfectly.
The service was friendly and attentive; my server made sure my Pepsi was always topped up, which I really appreciated. Overall, my experience at Vero Chicago Pizza was enjoyable, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu!

We weren’t expecting to find Chicago style pizza in Arizona but Vero knocked it out of the park. The deep dish was excellent- crust was buttery and light, very similar to what we expect at our favorite Chicago eateries. Service was great, priced as you would expect.

Waited 95 minutes for our online order and it ended up being about 30–35 minutes additional to the 95! Another customer mentioned this is pretty typical for this location, so it doesn’t seem like a one-time issue.
The staff was friendly and polite, which we appreciated. The pizza itself was okay — not bad, but not anything special either.
Overall, the long wait makes it hard to recommend, especially for families or anyone who’s already hungry. Plan for a significant delay if you order from here.

Been here multiple times and it is soooooo.good. Not a fan of Chicago style deep dish so I won’t review it. The drinks/cocktails are outstanding, the variations of the Moscow Mule are excellent. The Old Fashioneds are perfect! They have a high quality bourbon selection and especially if you’re a Makers fan like I am. My wife raves about the Veros house salad every visit. We get the wings every time and they are excellent. We get the Sears Tower thin crust and we love it. Our friends get the butter crust and swear its the beat they’ve ever had. We always sit in the bar area and the service is excellent. Wish I had the female bartender/waitress name but she’s always there, always super friendly and always top notch. Love this place ❤️

We got the deep dish and it was THICK, loaded with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
I liked that the crust was crunchy even on the bottom of the pizza.
4 year old approved of the pizza.
Also go the original wings in Buffalo and Italian seasoning. Really like the crunch of the wings and surprisingly the Italian flavor was really tasty!

We had a party of 9 Friday night- let me tell you how amazing they are- after we were seated I think they forgot about us- the place was slammed! We finally went up and asked for a server- but here’s the the thing- they apologized, gave us a discount, and got our food out super fast- I feel
Like most places just don’t care about customer service anymore- but Veros still cared and they still provide discounts to emergency staff- there are a lot of young kids working here as well and they are always polite and very kind! I love this place- we get take/out almost every week. The food and the service is incredible!

Went in for the Wednesday specials. Grabbed a beef and fries and a 14 inch deep dish bomb! So good. Had a few drinks and laughs with the people sitting at the bar. Nice layout and very clean. Service was wonderful. We will be back soon!!
