Our recent experiences at Bottlecap Alley Ice House Grill in Grapevine have been nothing short of exceptional! On our first visit, the warm greeting from the hostess immediately made us feel welcome. Even though we had to step out initially, her pleasant demeanor ensured we would be back.

Returning later that day, we were fortunate to be in the care of Sam P., and he truly made our visit outstanding. From allowing us to choose our seating to his consistently attentive and friendly service, Sam went above and beyond. My Philly Cheesesteak was absolutely delicious – exactly what I was craving – and my son thoroughly enjoyed his fantastic catfish basket. We especially appreciated Sam’s genuine enthusiasm for Texas, having relocated here himself. The entire experience was so positive that we couldn’t wait to return.
Our second visit today only solidified our fantastic impression. We were greeted by the equally wonderful Maddie, who was quick, efficient, and made us feel completely at ease. Her suggestion of steak fingers for my son was a winner! He absolutely loved them. And for me? The incredible Philly Cheesesteak called my name again, and it did not disappoint.

Bottlecap Alley offers not only delicious food but also truly outstanding customer service. Both Sam P. and Maddie are shining examples of the kind of friendly and attentive staff that makes a restaurant stand out. Combined with their top-notch deals, Bottlecap Alley Ice House Grill is a must-visit in Grapevine. We wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

Great burgers with brioche buns, good onion rings, excellent crunchy unbattered wings !!!, and always great service.
Their air exhaust is terrible or inop, the three times we’ve been there; because you will smell like fried food when you leave. The good burgers and wings offset the smell ‍♂️

I found this place on a quick Google search based on my location visiting Scott & White.

This place is a little larger than I imagined, as I apparently entered the back door (faces street) through a fun-looking deck.

I was greeted quickly and the staff was very friendly and Vanessa provided suggestions, which is always much appreciated.

They have a sizable bar in the middle of the restaurant with a solid collection of offerings

I went with the Mushroom Swiss burger and cajun fries (multiple seasoning are available).

My order came out super fast. The bun is a beautifully soft Brioche and the moisture from the mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and well-cooked meat was perfect. The portion size of this burger is just right for my normal appetite and I didn’t feel guilty finishing it. The fries are a nice medium cook (not all crunch and some had some softness) and the cajun seasoning has a welcome, authentic kick; not just an afterthought. I don’t normally eat all of a fry portion that large but as I sat there killing a few minutes reading news on my phone, I noticed I kept grabbing another one! I don’t need that many but, oh well.

Been coming here for years and always loved it but tonight was a let down. Server was mediocre at best, not rude at all but just stood there asking what we wanted. We were not told of any drink specials (would have saved us a few bucks) $3.50 for a cup of salsa when one of the entrees already came with it (she didn’t bother to tell us) making chips queso and salsa $10.50! After tip $80 for 3 people and two of us shared a meal. 3 over priced beers total and no other appetizers outside of the chips and queso with the $3.50 salsa. Place was almost empty but the game request we had was only put on one small TV that was the most inconvenient one to see, but luckily we were able to see a rerun of the Seahawks and 49’s game from last year and Olympic speed skating. Server then brought check and didn’t even ask if we wanted another (overpriced) drink or anything just said “here’s your check” and walked off. Hope they get back to their old ways and get some good servers and quit with the nickel and dime treatment. Never seen the place empty like it was tonight but imagine that may be common if this is how the place is now.

The food is consistently delicious. I had the fish and fries but also enjoyed fried pickles, fried okra. The burgers are also very good here. Generous servings. The best service despite being busy.

I’ve always loved the burgers here and the fact that you could build your own. I hadn’t been here in a while, since before the pandemic, and learned things are done differently now. They now have you seated and a server comes and takes your order at the table. The menu is digital, so you can the QR code at the table to scan. New on the menu, for me at least, were the brisket nachos so I had to try. They were pretty good. Large portion, brisket was tasty! We ordered the nachos, a burger, fries, and 2 drinks and paid $30 total, it was all delicious, and I had lots of leftovers.

Built my own burger with double meat, American cheese and queso and every bite is delicious. We also ordered the patty melt and added bacon but it lacked something in flavor. I highly recommend adding queso to anything and everything here as it is amazing. I preferred this place when they had the laminate menus and no servers but the food tasted the same as I remember and I’ll be back for my burger
