The place is small and if you dine in you may make a new friend. There are a few smaller tables and one larger one that is great for sharing. The biscuits are light and buttery. The grits are some of the best I’ve ever had out. The walls are covered with pictures taken over the years. The staff is kind and makes you feel a neighbor who stopped by to share a bite, which is usually the case.

Food is Amazing!
Atmosphere is loud, but people come for the delicious food and friendly staff. Interesting how the last review stated “rude staff.” I could elaborate, but I won’t. Iam sure there are plenty of regulars who will have a different opinion. Stilesboro Biscuits has been open for 31 years. They are open Thursday through Sunday till noon. There is Always a line to get in! We have lived within walking distance for almost 18 years.
It’s also a big “right of passage” for students of Bullard and McClure to go every Friday. All that being said….they are a Landmark for us on Stilesboro Road! We love you Lynn, Robert and your amazing staff for taking care of our kids every Friday. So happy to have you as our neighborhood stop❤️

We tried Stilesboro biscuit one Sunday morning. We weren’t disappointed but we weren’t blown away. Any meat, egg, and cheese biscuit is about $8 and does not include a drink or side so a bit high price wise.

Restaurant is quite small so when there’s lots of folks waiting it makes hanging out inside a bit awkward. Service was friendly and we waited only 10 minutes when we were about 6 people deep waiting for food.

Biscuits are soft and flaky. Eggs are nicely cooked, and sausage was flavorful. I wouldn’t be opposed to going again but not top of my list.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like a hug from your grandma, this mom-and-pop biscuit spot is it. Tucked away from the big chains and fast-paced drive-thrus, this little gem serves up biscuits that taste like they were made with love—and probably a secret family recipe.

The biscuits are buttery, flaky perfection, and everything is made fresh to order.

What really makes this place special is the people. It’s the kind of place where locals linger over coffee and everyone knows your name by your second visit.

Support local—skip the chain, and try this place instead. Your tastebuds (and your soul) will thank you.

I saw the article in Southern Living rating ‘the best biscuits in the South’ and Stilesboro Biscuits was Georgia’s winner.
I had not had biscuits there in awhile, and my husband had never tasted their yumminess!!
He brought home brown and overcooked and dry biscuits and commented that ‘fast food’ biscuits are better. We were both disappointed and after reading some reviews saw comments regarding the restaurant had passed down to the younger generation.
The service was great and so friendly but with Southern Living’s rating unfortunately the quality is not there.
I thought maybe being one of the first customers of the day that this batch of biscuits may have been baked overnight and rewarmed. After reading several reviews I thought maybe you’d like to know and bring back the delicious heavenly biscuits we all loved.

Lynn, I’m deleted my angry review from this morning and am reposting. I realized that my anger was likely magnified by a new medication I just started that can cause irritation in the first few days.

With that said, I can’t rate Stilesboro Biscuits on my experience with the food, which would be a 5, and have to balance it with my experience inside the restaurant today and many other times.

Unfortunately, while the food is good and the staff is friendly, the restaurant is frequently dominated by large groups. I understand as a business owner you probably don’t want to put restrictions on who can visit your establishment, but with it being a small space, it is not conducive to, nor does it feel welcoming to other guests, for a large group to push all the available tables together so that no one else who comes in is able to sit down.

The group of 10+ in there today left only a single chair available for others. Most of them were no longer eating, yet none of them seemed concerned with another customer sitting on the floor. I don’t know if it was a Bible study group or perhaps some type of club.

Logically, I know you cannot control a larger family who may come in occasionally, but I would say 3/5 times I have come in over the past year, a group is dominating the space. And yes, it is a bummer, because the space is very cute to come and sit with a friend or two and have breakfast. Yet, it seems Stilesboro Biscuits is becoming a conference room.

I was also disheartened that it wasn’t until after my sister had finished eating that one of the staff brought two folding chairs from the back. Maybe they’d forgotten they existed, but it would have been nice to sit down with my sister today and eat before she flew back across the world.

However, I should have just suggested we go somewhere else. Problem solved. Which is what I suspect a lot of people may be doing when they see there are these big groups taking up all of the tables and chairs. Thoughts of going to Stilesboro Biscuits no longer bring that feeling of “Oh, it’s a nice place to sit with a friend or your kids and have breakfast.” Instead, they’re more like “Hopefully the conference room isn’t booked today.”

I don’t know what the solution is. I appreciate the small mom and pop feel of Stilesboro Biscuits. However, I personally believe there need to be some restrictions on these large groups overtaking the dining area.

I love coming here for that traditional down-home breakfast cooking! These are the best biscuits you’ll ever have the pleasure of tasting. I highly recommend the bacon egg and cheese. The egg is so light and fluffy and they pile on the bacon! Its the perfect start for a great day. My only complaint is how tiny the location is, so you only have 4 tables total to sit at and that’s it. They’re usually full too.

Holy cow!! The biscuits are just wonderful!! I recommend the bacon and cheese biscuit (the bacon is so crispy and yummy!) but you can’t go wrong with anything you choose! We’ll definitely be back!

Today hubby and I checked out this amazing spot based off the high stars reviews.
The biscuit was just as I expected, delightful!!
I ordered the popular fave pork loin biscuit and hubby tried the bread steak fritter biscuit. The meat + cheese + egg was the combo except I had no cheese. The biscuit was buttery, soft and golden. The meat was plenty and tender. I was full after eating just one. It can be shared between 2 kids or light eaters. The price of a biscuit is less than $8. It is definitely a memorable shack in the community and I pop love how friendly everyone is. You can sit inside and outside.
There was limited parking but available parking was quick as some customers grab and go!
