I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try Katie Pie & Sons. I remember they relocated across town into this great old house not long after I moved to Columbia five years ago. I would hear good things about them and yet it just didn’t stay on my radar. However, last week a friend mentioned them and today I finally got myself in there. It’s a breakfast/lunch restaurant-the kind the felt like everybody knows your name. And, I want to be on their list.
They have an expansive menu that Katie, the owner, assured me everything was made fresh. I chose to have breakfast for lunch and ordered a ham and Swiss omelet with home fries and two absolutely delicious biscuits. It was great and I look forward to going back soon. Since holiday calories don’t count, I left with a slice of homemade carrot cake for later.
If you haven’t been, be sure to check them out. Conveniently located on Pulaski Highway at James Campbell. Open Tuesday through Saturday.

Excellent breakfast. Cute restaurant with great service. We were just stopping through and headed out of town when we decided to stop in. Very good breakfast Burrito and biscuits and gravy!

Food is always hot, accurate, and delicious. The melt is always a favorite of mine. Picky eating children never complain either. The blueberry pie is delicious as well. The servers and owner are ALWAYS fabulous. So sweet and down to earth. Not overbearing and take customers input into account. Love it!

Good place for a home cooked tasting meal. I had breakfast and they offered a good variety of options. Service was excellent even though they were slammed. I’ll definitely be back again. My food came out quickly even though they were busy.

We were excited to try this place, and were a little disappointed. The dining room was wonderful, but the placement of the tables made it difficult to move around the room. It was also very cold in there. It distracted me from enjoying my food. The Eggs Benedict was okay. The eggs were poached perfectly! The muffin, however, was burnt, and the hollandaise tasted bland. My husband had biscuit and gravy, and it was creamy, but lacked flavor. The staff was wonderful, though.

We loved Katie Pies before they moved. We hadn’t made the trek to their new location yet, and man… we were missing out! It’s honestly not that much further of a drive from Spring Hill and the new restaurant is adorable and has a great atmosphere. I’m so glad this local family is thriving and serving such yummy food for all! My daughter was skeptical of their handmade sausage, but once she tried it we had to order more! A big hit! Highly recommend!!

We met the owner Katie who made sure our service was top notice. Katie make sure everyone is being served and happy. Her two sons are the cooks and do a great job with cooking the food. Our meals were prepared hot and the quality was very good. Lots of locals eat at Katie’s and enjoy her meals. She knows everyone who comes in and greets them.

We had a good time at Katie Pie. Restaurant is local so it is always great to spend time knowing the local food a culture. Place is simple but is pretty. Food is very good. Hot chocolate is one of the best I’ve had in a while. Fried chicken is out of this world, crunch and tender at the same time. In your way out, you might want to take a picture with the old truck parked in front of the place. Nice experience and I do recommend for breakfast.
