We ate there on Tuesday November 25,2025. The food was not hot and some of it was not presented well. The fried chicken was cut up pieces of chicken breast and I did not recognize what they said was baked chicken. The vegetables taste like they had just been dumped out of a can. The only ‘bread’ was hushpuppies. The whole experience was terrible!

Buffet is limited, food was cold except for the very salty fried chicken the waitress delivers to your table. Some strange cooked cheese and apples, cold tater tots is the only potato dish, cold fried fish and hush puppies, salad was chunks of iceberg, some baby tomatoes and chucks of cheese, two dressings. No rolls or bread or crackers. Only dessert was mushy bread pudding.

being built in 1912 .They have a huge lunch buffet . I wasn’t that hungry , so I had soup and salad bar for $9 . Shrimp Bisque & Swamp Soup were very good . House dressing was awesome, and the fried biscuits were delicious . My friendly , helpful waitress informed me that dessert was only included in the lunch buffet . I asked about the pudding cake & she told me to go get some on the house . Southern hospitality at its finest ! I hope I tipped her enough !

A very tasteful restaurant. The food was quite good and unique. It tends to have an older crowd. I sat next to a couple in there early 20s. They complained about what they were eating so I tried it myself. I’m not sure what it was they were actually complaining about, to me it was quite good. I also saw some people leave because of the price, for witch I was fine with as they were not people I wanted to be in company with. Think of the price like how some beaches charge 5 dollars to enter. It keeps a certain crowed out .

If your taste buds don’t work anymore or you really just like frozen foods this is the place for you. Nothing on the hot bar is fresh it is all Frozen. Definitely not worth $20 a person

Excellent service and food. Buffet had ample selections to choose from. Fish, shrimp, country fried steak, chicken and dumplings, lots of vegetables. Staff kept hot food on the bar at all times. Also had shrimp bisque and gumbo that was crazy delicious. Atmosphere was excellent as well. Built in 1913 and still has stained wood slat walls. Decorated for a cozy atmosphere. Good for couples or entire families. Price was very reasonable. Parking was easy as well.

Great spot for lunch. They have a buffet with a large selection. We stopped for lunch on Easter Sunday. Was busy, but they had plenty of seating available. Always consistent. Fried chicken stood out.

We did the Tea party..It was awesome, everyone had the best time…room was set beautifully, food was wonderful and plentiful..service was excellent…would recommend this for everyone who need a place for any kind of Shower, reception, Wedding, Birthdays or just a girls High Tea Party… They are very accommodating..Will use them again…

Absolutely gorgeous interior, I was awed. Buffet style, a bit pricey, but worth it! So many selections to choose from and the best Down Home Southern cooking we had here yet!
