I just left the place after attending the comedy show. My son took me for my birthday. I had a wonderful time. The staff is polite and efficient. The pizza was amazing. I had a Hawaiian Personal pizza which is my favorite now and a margarita pizza which was still great and the other others in our party preferred that one. The service was fast and the food was hot.
I am not a drinker, especially of beer, but my son had a pistachio beer and it really was good for somebody who really hates beer but he enjoyed. I had a drink called Hootennanny, which is more of a fruit type drink, but it was amazing.
The seating for the comedy show was separate from the bar area, but full service. It was decorated with all kinds of things hanging from the ceiling. I feel that you could easily hear each other. Talk in this setting, of course, until the show started.
The comedians were local To Wisconsin. They weren’t like big time performers that can’t relate to which city they’re in Next or tell actual jokes That include memories you’ve had. All three were very funny
The headliner really tried his best to include all Areas of the room, but not one Heckler or what I would say as a mean joke. I believe they have shows every month on Wednesday nights and I know I will be going back. The menu is online, but the drinks were about $9, I think the pizzas were around $10 And the cover charge for this particular show was $15.
Seating was nice at these little tables. In my party, there were three of us.

It’s really hard to find great service and good food with a nice atmosphere, but this place hits the mark! Shannon was so personable and friendly. She made sure we had a good time and had really good drink suggestions for us. The pizza was tasty and we’ll definitely be back.

This place has great pizza. A group I am in eats here fairly frequently because the service and food are fantastic! The atmosphere is that of a sports bar, not my thing, but if you don’t mind that kind of thing maybe adjust the atmosphere to 4/5 stars. I would still dock a star for the bathrooms.

Stopped in for a drink and to watch the game. Excellent beer selection and mixed drinks. I had an old fashioned. I enjoyed the atmosphere and staff was very friendly and welcoming. 1st time here.

The food and drinks were great. The lights were all red (hence the strange hue of the pictures).
We ordered a personal sized BBQ chicken pizza and the white cheddar cheese curds. The pizza was delicious and the cheese curds were okay.
They have a very large selection of beer type drinks (stout, IPA, sours, cider, etc) on tap.
Overall I would recommend. My only complaint was that the seating was strange. Either the table was too low or the chair was too high. My thighs felt a bit cramped and I couldn’t sit straight facing the table comfortably.

Highly disappointed. This was our first time trying Magellan’s. Since it was so hot today, I took the night off from cooking for the fam and ordered takeout. My hubby LOVES a good chicken sandwich and is always trying to find “the one”,so based on the menu description we ordered that. We also ordered a Bayou pizza, chicken tenders and the cod dinner. Sounds delish right?? Not so much. The chicken sandwich did have a large piece of chicken and the flavors were all there but the cooking execution made this a terrible experience for us across the board. The chicken (both the tenders and the sandwhich) was burnt to a crisp, tough as shoe leather and dryer than the Sahara. The pizza was blackened and not with a cajun seasoning. The anduolli sausage also had a sour taste to it. ( I love anduolli too ☹️) The fish was also overcooked but at least not too burnt, which made it dry. The fries were the only redeeming item in the order. The kill fries are delish as is the bayou sauce.
I can also say the service was good, the young lady who took my order was great and she was very nice when picking up our order.

This place is absolutely fantastic! One of the best places I’ve tried out in a long time. Huge beer selection, food menu isn’t huge but the quality of what they do offer more than makes up for it. Everything was absolutely delicious and the bartender couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive. I truly haven’t been this impressed with a place in a long time.

Had an awesome time at Magellan’s! Excellent beers, delicious food, and fantastic service. I had the pineapple cider and smoked chicken and bacon pizza on gluten free crust. My husband likes his serendipity beer and fish with generous serving of fries. Our friends also enjoyed their food and beverages – a good time had by all!

We happened upon this place when walking downtown Waukesha, and since other bars were either empty (red flag) or had a wait, we decided on here since it was a happy middle. What a great decision! Our waitress was top notch, she was friendly and attentive. Her attention to details like packing our pizza to go and writing the names on the boxes really made a difference. Now the food. It was SO good. The special was half off apps and we all enjoyed the unique pizza offerings. The crust was perfect. Also great drink selection. Last, but certainly not least, the bathroom was so cool! Clean and decorated very fun.
