0/10 DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! My food was cold like it just came out of the fridge. The lamb chops are so little the macaroni was overcooked and cold not worth the money at all. DEAD WRONG FOR THIS NASTY COLD FOOD!

So the Mac and cheese wasn’t Mac n nor cheesen at all. I still gave them a five. The shrimp were good as were the yams. Owners gave me a $5 discount. I’d return and try another dish to support. Staff were nice. They do only take cash app or Zelle apparently.

So at first I had mixed reviews because when we pulled up, the parking lot was completely empty but when we came in the place is really nice on the inside. Service was great and I’m not gonna lie the floors are a little sticky, but the food was so good. I even ordered more to go it came out quickly. We were offered water without even asking first they play great music and it was very clean. Highly recommended. I’m not from the city but when I do come back, I will be sure to stop here 10 out of 10.

Wow, what an amazing place. The people are awesome. The food is even better. I had the shrimp and Chicken Alfredo. It’s absolutely amazing. A small menu is made to perfection. Everything is made to order, not poured out of a bag, and you can taste the difference.
Very relaxing environment, small, but big enough to be quaint and enjoyable. Not cramped, small may have been a bad description for the room. It’s awesome, go, you’ll love it.

I was very disappointed in my food especially after spending $73. The lamb chops, dressing and steak bites were not good. The sauce on the lamb chops & steak bites made them taste worse not to mention there was gristle in my steak. Oh and the seafood mac and cheese was 3 shrimp on top of the Mac with cheese. I try to support small businesses but with serving this food makes me think twice. My brother was happy with his pork chops & fries.

Horrible tonight My family and I had a taste for soul food it’s been awhile since we order some omygoodness the food was so terrible I felt sick to my stomach how can you serve grease meatloaf, grease dressing,grease Mac&cheese I spent 94$ on this meal if it wasn’t cold out I would drive all of it back to them I’m so disappointed I could cry literally !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I been in this area for 13 years and The previous restaurant Deangelos just didn’t cut it!! They just remodeled it to Opyum soul and let me tell u outside of the great new remodel on the inside and very reasonable pricing my food was D-li-shous!!!! ◀️Lol! Anywho I ordered liver rice gravy and onions! It was Perfect!!! And the kids got tenders and fries but let me say we all have had our fair share of tenders but theirs beat ANY OTHER TENDER IVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE ON GOD!!!! ❤️

This is the restaurant that goes by the same name as their bar on 8 mile. I’m writing a review because this place is nice and the people are friendly but the vibe there is off. The energy is depressing. I got 10 lamb chops and a large cabbage and I received my order quickly. My lamb chops are 3 dollars on Tuesdays and they are the size of dum dum lollipops I know they are small but getting smaller. One bite literally for 3 dollars so I get 10… The cabbage had a good flavor but was very oily. I got napkins and plastic ware but I couldn’t believe my plastic ware was already open and missing the fork! I know mistakes happen but wow… It was not busy at all just me and maybe one other person they also had a full staff there about three people behind the counter. I pray for your success please get different lamb chops because I may not come back. I do enjoy their flavor.

First time here, the sides such as the dressing, Mac n cheese, & greens is good. I also purchased an order of chicken wings and pork chops smothered in gravy. The fried chicken wings were not fried all the way and the gravy was thick. The pork chops were fried okay, but again the gravy was so thick.
