This was my first time visiting this location as it is always packed in passing by. I’m pretty sure it was also my waitress’ first time as well as she did not know the proper etiquette of greeting and being kind to customers. She wasn’t even knowledgeable of what they were serving as she simply walked up and said we’re out of a bunch of things on the menu and started listing off what was not available and made the comment that she knew she was leaving out a bunch more. She did not ask us how we were doing or state her name just went straight into what can I get you were out of everything I remained polite as you never know what kind of day someone is having I can understand that we all have bad days. I then gave her my order of salmon which was the main reason for picking this place, for the salmon I was craving. She then replied were out of that as well. I looked over the menu while the rest of my party ordered and when she circled around to me I asked for a pizza, she replied they only do pizza on Fridays? Yes the reply was in question and uncertainty if that was the right day. I finally said I would take the salad bar and again that was not available that specific day as well. So if you are coming here for pizza, salmon, salad bar or about half of the menu please call ahead of time and make sure it’s available! I gave 5 stars for the atmosphere as the back patio has a beautiful landscape with a fountain and flight of stairs to overlook the lake. Makes for a beautiful picture. I might go for a coke and sit back there in the peaceful serenity, but definitely not going there if I’m hungry. Huge disappointment as I had only heard wonderful things about this place

This place is a treat, I love that it’s next to the water and has tons of outside space.
The food is solid with good variety and I would come again
Level of service was solid, It takes a little bit of time to get back and forth from kitchen but never felt not taken care of or that I was an inconvenience
Cost is $10 to become a member to be able to drink but as a guest the food was great

**Cafe Klaser”: A Second Chance**
Despite a disappointing first visit, I’m optimistic about returning to the **Cafe Klaser**. Its location is perfect, with outdoor seating that offers a prime view of the beautiful Little Red River as it flows by. I can only imagine how incredible this view will be when the autumn leaves change colors.
On my first visit, the food unfortunately didn’t live up to the scenery. My **steak** was overcooked and lacked flavor. I also tried the **shrimp jammers**, which were a letdown. While the idea of pepper jack cheese-stuffed, battered, and deep-fried shrimp sounds delicious, the cheese was overpowering, and the batter wasn’t very good. I think a coconut batter might have been a better choice.
However, I’ve heard from locals in Heber Springs that the restaurant has a great **steak stuffed with crawfish**, and they also offer an **all-you-can-eat seafood platter on Thursdays**. These recommendations, combined with the restaurant’s incredible location, are more than enough reason for me to give it another try. After all, everyone deserves a second chance.
That and my waitress was very nice and friendly.

Stopped in for their Sunday Buffet a few weeks ago. We actually didn’t have a great experience last time, so we gave it a bit and thought we would try it again. I would highly recommend for sure!!! The food was hot, fresh and super good!! Great selection of fried chicken, catfish, shrimp, veggies and desserts. Staff on duty that day were great, definitely like seeing them work together and help each other out. Micah was our waitress that day, she’s definitely one of the best!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Great Restaurant overlooking the Little Red River. This is the second time here and the best. First visit was just ordering Big Billy Burgers with homemade pepper and salt chips. Yes the burgers were big. Today we tried out the Sunday Buffet, and I must say it was fantastic. The catfish was the best I’ve had in the area, so far. Definitely good food overall, great atmosphere. If you want something extra to drink, there is a bar inside. Desserts were sweet, and tasty. All in all we’ll be back. The buffet price is great and you’ll leave full.

This is a go to spot in Heber Springs. The food was amazing and beautifully put together! Great atmosphere. We had a window seat by the river and watched it snow! The dessert menu is worth a try too!

Nice little place on the river to eat. The food was good and the service was friendly. We always try to get some we can get elsewhere if possible. We had froglegs and shrimp jammers for appetizers- DELICIOUS! For our entire stuffed steak the hubs got stuffed steak and went for 10oz. Too much. I had the sauteed walleye, really tasty.

What a cute little cafe, well not too little. Staff was very friendly and inviting. We sat outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the Little Red River. We asked to be moved to the shade, and she moved us, no questions asked. Our food was quick and delicious!! Prices was as good as the food!! Recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

We were staying at a place that is in walking distance of this restaurant. The food was good. I ordered the blackened catfish with crawfish sauce and creamed spinach and the hubs ordered a shrimp and crawfish po’boy and homemade chips. The food was good. The creamed spinach looked like spinach soup. The homemade chips were fried hard and they were not eaten. The blackened catfish with crawfish sauce and the po’boy were very flavorful. For dessert I ordered the “homemade” key lime pie. It was ok. Brianna was a great waitress. The restaurant is cute and quaint. You can sit inside or out and considering it is in a dry county, you have to pay for a membership to consume alcohol. Check it out! *Note- There is all you can eat catfish and oysters on Thursdays. There was no buffet available when we went. *
