Visiting from out of town, we were searching for a place to go eat ramen and found this restaurant in Old Market.
Food
– Miso Ramen: The broth was light and good, the pulled pork was a bit salty. The Miso ramen is a safe choice to pick if you can’t decide on what to get. I did switch the avocado out for mushrooms and it wasn’t a good idea. The mushrooms felt very rubbery.
– Kimchi Potatoes: There was a small hint of kimchi flavor but it can be little to none. The potatoes and pork belly was a good mix. There were some soft and crispy potatoes.
Service/Atmosphere
– As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were seated fairly quickly. The restaurant was not very busy around 2:30 pm on a Sunday so we didn’t have to wait. Our server was nice, gave us his personal recommendations for Ramen. The food came out pretty quick. The restaurant itself was fairly empty, two other tables seated, so it was a very peaceful atmosphere. We Ubered to the restaurant which dropped us off right across from the Hollywood Candy and had to walk into the alley where we found the restaurant, a little sketchy but a hidden place with a nice interior vibe.

Nice place with excellent food. I especially enjoyed the kalbi ramen. The other dishes were not to my liking but you can’t win them all. Our vegan tried the vegetable ramen and left all the shitake mushroom “bacon” uneaten.
At one point they ran a crazy loud blender for 10 minutes to make broth. It sounded like an ice crusher and really killed the mood.
I will go back though. The ramen is great if you pick the right one.

Google maps took us to the wrong door. It’s located just inside the alley. Google took us to main street and to were I think apartments are. Just walk around the block to the alley.
Great food and nice pleasant atmosphere with the old market brick. The wait staff was nice and helpful too.

Location is cool, in a sketch alleyway. Food, atmosphere, and service was great. However, a bottle of Michelob Utra was listed at five dollars a bottle, but yet the new price at checkout was seven dollars per bottle! Ridiculous!

Absolutely love this place. Wasn’t for sure what I was getting into after seeing the black market signs that point at a dark sketchy alley. Halfway down the alley is one of Omahas best Ramen restaurants that I never knew existed

Went here with the hubby for the first time for lunch and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the Bukkake Bowl, and Pork Gyoza. My hubby ordered the Beef Teriyaki Yakisoba Bowl, and the Crab Rangoon rolls. Everything is served freshly made and smoking hot. Food service was amazing as well!

The ramen was not that hot after waiting a long time for our order. I had the vegetarian and requested spicy sauce, it took awhile for that to come out too. They must put dehydrated mushrooms in the ramen. The mushrooms in the ramen were not re hydrated. They were crunchy and dry. The table never was replenished water or asked if we needed more to drink, or asked how things were tasting.
In the end long wait time, not very attentive waiters, food is okay but I would not want to go there again. The best part was the atmosphere and company shared with our group that came out.

My girlfriend and I stopped coming for about a year due to the horrible customer service. But that all changed today!! Velma is by far THE BEST server they have ever had. She was attentive, kind, quick, and so helpful. She made this the best date night, by far! Even when she had a crowd she made sure we were taken care of and made sure to always check up on us. We will definitely be coming back!

Pretty good ramen place. Their fried chicken plate is a good start and the ramen is delicious. Service is mostly good, but I inexplicably had to wait to get my seat when there was only one other person eating there at the time. Otherwise, my server was attentive and polite. Not the best ramen place I’ve been to, but still very tasty.

My boyfriend brought me here because of my insatiable desire to eat ramen whenever we’re visiting a new place together. The ramen here was good, but pretty average. They were both beautiful plated, however. The cocktails on the other hand were tasty but lacked design. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Dark, kind of sexy but hip. Kind of got lost trying to find the place. The person being trained served us at the bar. I like eating at the bar. Servers/bartenders were very attentive. We were also the only ones in there around 5:30pm on a Tuesday. I guess we were there during Happy Hour so prices were pretty decent. Portion sizes are generous. Might try the other locations when we’re back in Omaha.
