Reviews
Not sure if it was an off night – can’t believe everyone had this experience with reviews being so good, but no compensation offered for our crap meal!
Ordered two dishes each because of glowing reviews, but don’t do it – first not nice curry house we’ve tried in Bedminster – don’t know where these reviews have come from
My only issue was the lamb Khushboo was meant to be a medium bhuna style sauce but was creamy like the mango korma we ordered and had no spice. Still very nice though, just would have gone for a different curry if I’d known.
We were turned off from the garlic chilli chicken because we thought it would be too hot but I guess not if that was medium
If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. 4 felt too mean cause it was mostly perfect!
Will definitely go again
We were greeting with a warm smile and a genuine welcome.
The food was tasty, especially the onion bhaji starters and the fresh chilli dip to accompany the poppadoms. The Nan breads were light and fluffy.
Certainly worth a visit pre or post match.
What makes this place truly special, though, are the owners. They’re so warm and welcoming, treating every guest like family. They always take the time to chat, recommend dishes, and make sure you’re enjoying your meal. Their kindness and hospitality turn a simple dinner into a memorable experience.
If you’re looking for fantastic food served by genuinely lovely people, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!
Saw the glowing reviews (literally searched best curry houses in Bristol) but the food was shockingly bad.
We ordered as a takeaway and my girlfriend’s order literally could only be compared to a bowl of watery flavourless mush.
My order was perfect texture wise, but once again not an ounce of flavour present. It was almost like they’d forgot to add any spices.
Side orders were exactly the same? No flavour. The only thing up to scratch was the poppadum!
We’re honestly just sad that it must’ve been an off night for the chefs as the reviews are great which obviously makes this even more disappointing.
As you’ll see on my google profile I’m not someone who likes to leave negative reviews but when you’re offered nothing back as compensation for a genuinely terrible and expensive meal it isn’t right.
I would avoid for one of the countless other amazing curries we’ve had in Bristol.
