Second visit. Rolls are huge but not only filled with rice but very generous with the fish and fillings. Seldom AYCE restaurants offers sashimi! All the pieces taste fresh and come in big chunks! We did the math though — unless you can eat 4 rolls, you are better off opting the a la carte. Pictures posted here are mind and my partner’s ala carte orders.
My son – growing teenager- always order the AYCE (he’s been 4 times). We find regular menu items are just as yummy and we don’t end up stuffing ourselves .
Service is hit or miss. Depends on which waitress. The Asian ladies are always nice. We’ll be back!

If you’re in the area and craving a sushi buffet, this spot is worth checking out. The selection is solid, the rolls come out fresh, and it’s all-you-can-eat without the long wait. Bonus points for being BYOB—bring your favorite drink and make it a chill night out. The food isn’t fancy, but it hits the spot.

We love the people who work at Ming’s, they’re always so friendly and welcoming. The all-you-can-eat sushi is a fantastic deal, and their miso soup is one of my favorites. The sushi is artfully prepared, and the Star Roll is our go-to, along with the green tea ice cream for dessert. It’s a casual BYOB spot, perfect for a relaxed night out. Enjoy!

The food quality is very average. The ingredients don’t feel fresh and have a strange smell. I went to another buffet was not asked to pay for any leftovers. I don’t understand why their buffet model charges for leftover food (which is not much) after charging the buffet fee. By the way, I have been to this restaurant before and my experience was good before, but now the more worthwhile items on the buffet menu have been changed, and there is nothing delicious. In addition, there was no charge for leftover food before. The service experience has declined and is getting worse. For the same price, you can eat more valuable things at other places.

This is a restaurant I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The service is absolutely terrible, the wait is incredibly long, and I witnessed a waitress mistreating a DoorDash delivery driver because she was talking to another employee instead of attending to both the delivery orders and the restaurant customers. She simply told someone who was providing a service to a customer to “go to hell,” which is unacceptable for any establishment. I felt uncomfortable for the person who was there trying to do their job. Terrible service.

It takes a very long time to eat at the restaurant or to get delivery. The staff is unprepared and unqualified. I do not recommend it, especially the woman who works at the cash register, who is completely rude. They need to improve a lot to be an excellent restaurant like other restaurants in New Bedford.

That day, four of us went in to eat the sushi buffet. The average cost was $32 per person, which was probably close to $140 after tax. But in the end, we paid close to $180. I don’t think that ordering two plates for four people was too much, but we waited for 40 minutes for our first roll. What I don’t understand is that we went in with a very hungry mood and wanted to eat. If I have to wait for 40 minutes for my first bite of sushi, what’s the point of going to this restaurant? After waiting for 40 minutes, it was obvious that we were not happy and not very hungry. At this time, they brought us two large rolls, and I had no appetite. During the 40 minutes of waiting, I directly told my friend, “I will never come to this restaurant again.” In the end, we had about 7 or 8 pieces of sushi left, and they said that since we didn’t finish it, if we paid now, they would charge us for the sushi roll. After my boyfriend clearly stated that he didn’t like the roll and it tasted bad, they said, “Okay.” Despite this, we still chose to give a tip of more than 20 dollars. I think if you choose to run an All You Can Eat restaurant, you don’t have to worry about people ordering a wide variety of items. If you are worried that people will eat too much, then you can just choose to run a single-item restaurant.

Sushi is $31.99 per person. Good price for all you can eat. However the quality of the food was a bit lackluster. One roll that should’ve had avocado on top had avocado on only two pieces of sushi. They also limit the pieces of sashimi you can order to 5 per person. Furthermore the salmon sashimi was actually still kind of frozen. Overall the sushi was decent. However I would recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for good quality food. If you’re just looking to fill your stomachs then this place is probably fine. Personally though, I would not recommend or return again.

Very nice place to get sushi from. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Will be ordering from again. Also get the fried crab which was good as well. Highly recommend for my seafood lovers.

We LOVE Ming’s! My husband and I make the drive here at least once a month. The all you can eat app’s and sushi are totally worth it. Between the quality of food, the outstanding service and consistency alone make this one of our top choices for not only Japanese cuisine but in general. If you love sushi, this is definitely the place to go and even if you don’t, it is worth a visit to explore some of their other delicious menu options.
