The horchata was really good. The red salsa was pretty spicy. That’s really all the positives. I thought the asada and the barbacoa were bland. I wish they would’ve cooked the meat to order or at least thrown it on the griddle for a little.

Strongly recommend La Bamba. Most slept on Mexican place in Kato. I haven’t had anything here that wasn’t fantastic. The owners are very nice people too! The selection is huge – wet burritos, tortas, birria tacos, elote, chili Colorado, on and on.

My order was the wrap, and it slapped! To be eaten with a fork and not the fingers the queso was a glue from the Gods, adding excellent texture and flavor to the rice, salsa, and all the stuffings. Spicy and authentic chorizo sausage was the perfect protein to pull it all together, not to mention a terrific tortilla that would trump anything from a grocery store. Filling and fantastic, this one’s for those who find dairy extraordinary
As for the fries, my friend was not disappointed. With a similar queso to the burrito, steak, salsa, AND avocado sauce atop crispy fries, this selection is an indulgent feast of French fry fusion
La Bamba is nothing short of da bomb. My only complaint is the NUMEROUS options… guess I have to go back to try somethin’ else. Oh well… 😉

The nachos were fantastic! The meat was so tender and flavorful and the fact we could customize our toppings.. I fell in love. Also, the tres leches, delicious. I inhaled all my food. I will absolutely be back!! The staff here were so welcoming and kind. Highly recommend!!

BEST TACOS IN MANKATO! Been going to LaBamba for years and the food is top notch! Highly recommend the Bamba Nachos loaded with everything. You get a LOT of food so be prepared! Don’t bother with the other Taco places in Mankato. This place is the real deal!

I ordered a burrito with red sauce for delivery, I put a note in requesting the sauce in case they missed it, and I received a burrito with no sauce at all. Bag was sealed so it wasn’t the driver’s fault. Teach your servers how to read.
