My wife and I popped into Ducali’s before a weeknight Celts game for just a bite to eat, but we found much more. There was excitement and positivity as we walked through the door, escaping the cold evening winds from Boston Harbor.
After we grabbed the last 2 seats at the bar, a simple paper menu appeared, letting us know we’re at a no frills spot that puts their money into their product. The open prep station & ovens provided a great view of both the chefs and the materials they used.
A house salad and a pizza for one was plenty for us to split before a cold walk to The Garden. The salad was light, tangy and maybe a touch too sweet, while the pizza was fresh and perfect. Just what we hoped for at the moment.
The crowd in the room was fun and lively, engaging discussions taking place usu over large pans of elevated pizzas. Good communal conversations and politeness as the tables were close requiring further cooperation.
Both of us thought this little shop was punching above it’s weight in order to make.it at this location. GREAT job!!

After the game we strolled around the city taking in more sights, enjoying the windows decorated for the holidays and more breathtaking architectural design. Also stopped into Ducati an Italian cafe where we tried their charcuterie and parmesan, arugula and truffle pizza. Both were delicious, the charcuterie board was loaded up with meats, cheese and greens with crusty bread and flavorful oil and house honey balsamic dip; the parmesan, arugula and truffle pizza had a light and airy dough that baked beautifully in the brick pizza oven. The arugula added a nice bite of spice to complement the salty, savory of the Parmesan and truffle oil.

Friendly staff, great vibe, fantastic music and amazing pizza. Sauce was particularly zesty, burrata cheese soft, creamy and perfectly balanced the other ingredients. It’s not often I exclaim “oh man!” to nobody in particular; but this pizza was that good. I will be back for certain.

Ducali was pretty empty when we went mid-afternoon on a Saturday in May. We got seated immediately which was great. Service was pretty good but almost checked on too much. We were served luke warm glasses of water, which was a bit strange. The food was pretty good. My partner’s sandwich was awesome and mine was okay. Fries and caesar salad were great! We did get in and out pretty quickly, which was great so we didn’t miss our train.

I am in from out of town and needed something quick to eat. I ordered the Burrata pizza and added arugala for a peppery bite and carmalized onions for some sweetness. And let me tell you what, this is a fantastic tasting za. The crust is crispy on the outside and all the toppings sing harmoniously together. Would recommend to friends traveling

Delicious flavors, excellent service, cool environment. We had the Burrata, the Polpetta, and the Pollo Pesto with a Caprese salad and 3 cold and tasty beers. All 3 pies were flavorful and the crust on each was perfectly prepared! So, so good! Loved the salad as well. We’ll be back and I highly recommend the place.

Stopped in on a late December Tuesday afternoon. Had a large polpetta, small margherita, and a small pollo pesto. Meatballs and mozzarella were fresh. All our pizzas were fantastic. Crust was perfect. Service was also very good.

Excellent service! We enjoyed pizza. The pizzas have a thin crust with a nice chew. Flavors are simpler than some other locations but still very good. I’m glad we stopped in.

Awesome pizza nachos(nachos Italiano)
Ambiance : we sat outdoor. Ducali has a pleasant ambiance but nothing out of the ordinary.
Food: We had an appetizer – Nacho Italiano. Oh my, just as I read in many reviews, it was so delicious. I loved it! We were so stuffed from it that we actually decided we needed a break before the actual dinner. And a long walk. I would highly recommend this place for this. Although if you are a vegetarian like me, request to not add the meat!
Service : drinks and food were brought out in a timely manner. Our server also recommended some extra toppings in our pizza nachos which surely brought the up the taste. All praise for her!
Veggie rating: I give this place a veggie rating of 3/5 for having few options for us and also being flexible on the pizza nachos!

Stopped in here before a Bruins game the other night for a quick bite and drink. Pizza was mediocre at best. Also ordered an espresso martini that was one of the worst drinks I’ve ever had. I am certain there was no espresso in it and it just tasted like a glass of Bailey’s on ice. Sent the drink back and ordered a beer instead, but the bartender refused to take it off the tab. The bartender was super disengage and not helpful at all. Definitely do not recommend and will not be coming back – there are much better spots in the North End.
