Kara age fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
It came out very hot, which made it even better. It was well seasoned, so it didn’t need much sauce.
Steak curry & rice was really good.
It tasted like the curry I had in Japan and was the best Japanese curry I’ve had recently. They recommended ordering the steak well done, so I went with that.
The sauce portion was generous, so there was plenty to go with the rice.
There are no extra toppings just rice, curry, and steak but I would come back to have it again.

Right beside Nijiya supermarket and my dog grooming place. Lots of good reviews led me here. Ordered large portion steak with potato salad. Cut don steak over rice– menu is simple and beef is good! I didnt order wagyu slice but the flavor reminds you of trad japanese resto. Place is not fine dining but comfortable and relaxed. Potato salad is a must try- so so good and creamy. Will come back to try the sliced beef don w egg- their signature dish. The servings are good for 1-2 persons and priced a little bit more. But with the flavor experience, i think its worth it. Good date place for foodies.

This is my ~5th time coming since I first went back in April. I live 40 minutes away on a good day. It is SO. GOOD. I think about Red Rock constantly, I even dreamt about it already. I always get the #2 special, the steak don with an egg and cheese. The most recent time I went, they took out the cheese and I was so sad. Bring back the cheese, please!!! Medium rare is the best! I also get the croquettes and those are to die for! The service is always impeccable, my water is always full! I love the cozy little atmosphere inside the teeny tint restaurant. It’s worth waiting in line for. 5 stars every single time I’ve been. 6 stars if I could because this is one of my favorite restaurants!

Everything about Red Rock is a 5 stars personally. The portion for the Steak Don is perfect for me. It was flavorful and delightful, I would definitely come again. The atmosphere was quiet, everyone here was just here to eat. The miso soup is a little bit bland for me, but it might just be because I prefer red miso more than white miso.

This is a Japanese-style Western restaurant that mainly serves beef dishes. In fact, the quality of the beef served here is very high, and the chef’s skills are also excellent. The beef is soft and tender in the mouth, which is worthy of praise. As for The food portion is sufficient, so if you have a bigger appetite, just order a larger portion. The environment in the restaurant is simple, and the waiters are very attentive and courteous, making the guests feel warm. The lighting in the room is quite atmospheric, and it is a good choice to enjoy a sumptuous dinner with your partner.

It was worth the drive to come here and try the food. It’s a very small place so there’s always a good waiting. The food comes out super fast. The portions are smaller than what the pictures are. I have to say the hamburger steak is different but really good tho.
