I don’t always leave reviews, but this place is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at, and I travel a lot! Good halal Chinese is often hard to find, but this place is effortlessly amazing. The food came out within 10 mins of ordering and everything was beyond delicious. Some of the most unique flavors I’ve had to date. Pricing wise I would say it was fair given the generous portion, our bill came out to $70 and we (2 people) have enough to take home for another nights dinner. In a city like NY you could visit every restaurant once and not run out of restaurants but Jiang’s kitchen is definitely on my list for a repeat visit.

Jiang’s kitchen gets 5 stars all around – for the food, the service and the atmosphere. The price of their food is so reasonable and the portions are massive and filling. The flavours are also out of this world. I had the big chicken plate and my wife had the chicken stir fry noodles, both dishes were amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as they made space for us relatively quickly even though we didn’t have a reservation. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Less service. The chicken is a little bit salty. Lamb bbq is really good. Chao rice noodle was not xinjiang flavor. Lamb rib bang was also good and delicious.

Amazing Chinese Halal Food!
The food here is absolutely delicious! Their beef is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the crispy chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and full of taste. Both dishes are a must-try for anyone who loves authentic halal Chinese food. Highly recommended!

I recently visited a halal Chinese restaurant and was absolutely impressed from start to finish. The food was exceptionally delicious — every dish was perfectly seasoned, with wonderfully balanced sauces and just the right level of spice. And for those who prefer milder flavors, there are also plenty of non-spicy options available.

The quality was consistent throughout the entire meal, and I honestly couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. On top of that, the service was warm, friendly, and very welcoming.

Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s truly a gem and definitely worth a visit!

Finally got a chance to try out Jiang’s and it didn’t disappoint at all. Great flavor, great service and nice vibe. Medium sized cozy halal Chinese restaurant with a nice size menu. I had the rice noodles with chicken & shrimp, medium spice. It was PERFECT. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. They also have halal hot pot.

I’ve been coming to Jiang’s Kitchen for a while and it never disappoints. The Hot and Sour Cucumber, Baked Lamb Bun (dip it into the cucumber sauce!), and Lamb Ball with Winter Melon Soup are must-tries. The Shredded Sour Cabbage, Sautéed Beef with Cumin, and handmade Sautéed Noodles with Lamb are consistently outstanding. Having worked in Michelin-star kitchens, I can say their food is fresh, and made in-house. This place truly deserves more recognition.

Objectively, this was greatest Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Hole in the wall northern Chinese food located in the East Village/St. Marks very close to NYU. Usually the line is out the door, but we went around 7 PM on a Friday and we only had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table, turnover is pretty fast. All dishes came out within 15-20 mins of ordering.

Hot and sour cucumber: 10/10 – Not spicy, more like a soy/garlic/vinegar marinade with cucumber and it was still crunchy.

Hand rolled noodle w/lamb: 12/10 – Definitely the star of the show, noodles were slightly toothsome & the lamb was cooked perfectly with spices and vegetables.

Crispy chicken: 12/10 – We ordered it mild which was perfect, so it wasn’t super spicy with the added Sichuan peppers, amazingly crispy and sautéed with vegetables.

Lamb kebab: 8/10 – A little chewy but otherwise delicious, with a dusting of cumin on top of it.

The food was excellent and the portions were huge! We tried the stir-fried beef rice noodles, stir-fried vegetable noodles, shumai, and the Jiang big plate chicken, all absolutely delicious . The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Best of all, the halal menu is a big plus for me. it’s always a win to find great halal food in NYC!

Thank you

The food was really good! It was quite crowded, and since there were only two servers, we had to wait a little bit. Making a reservation in advance would definitely be more convenient.
