Everything was perfect and has a great family atmosphere. Our waitress and manager,macayla, tended to us and checked up on us periodically catering to our needs. We ordered three apps,(cheese curds,cheese sticks,fried green tomatoes), all three came out in a timely manner as was cooked golden brown and crispy just the way they’re supposed to be. Thr kids got the Mac and cheese dinners which they ate every bite. I went with medium well ribeye straps on a bed of fettuccine Alfredo and oh my was it amazing! Strips was cooked spot on. The portion size was so big I even had to ask for a to go box. The wife ordered a t bone medium well with a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and she ate every bite…and was very full! We also ordered desserts to go for home. Funnel cake fries and salted caramel lava cake and those, like the rest of the food, was absolutely amazing. If you’re in the irvine area or even traveling to the gorge this year look them up located at 77 river drive in Irvine KY! I forgot to.megion that the house made ranch, marinara and cinnamon butters was in the top 3,if not the best, of each that I have ever had! Btw…they have an all you can eat salad bar!

The pictures below are the food that we purchased for our children for dinner, none of it was eatable. My husband and I ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwiches which weren’t the worst but definitely not worth the money we paid for them. Our total bill was $80 and none of our children could even eat their food, we will now have to go get them dinner elsewhere. Definitely do not recommend!

My family and I had been told about this restaurant so we wanted to try it out. Atmosphere is excellent, food is amazing, service is phenomenal. Our waiter was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. We will definitely be back.

This building needs to be shut down immediately! I’m posting this because we traveled 40 miles from our cabin to find a spot for steak and pasta. We are not from Kentucky so we don’t know the issue that we seen.
The owner of this building should be ashamed. The restaurant should never be allowed to serve food with the restrooms having no flushing toilets and floors full of waste.
Kids meals are so dry that it stuck together. And was not prepared as the rest of our meals.
We had to stop and feed them else where.
The building was filling up with smoke. Not sure why they didn’t have ventilation.
Had we went to the restroom first, we would’ve walked right out!
Only good thing about the restaurant was the manager. From start to finish he was above and beyond with his kindness and service.
He did take care of the bill after he was shown the picture. He explained the situation and apologized.

Truly a delightful place. Great food, honestly can expect steak better than Ruth’s Chris, and you won’t be disappointed. Use the Dijon butter, try the ribs…. ENJOY!

The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly.
Bathrooms were clean. Food was mediocre. Cheap fried food fare. My husband ordered the cheese ravioli, and it came out with 6 ravioli for $11. Not worth it. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. It really needs a chef to create a menu. This place could be redeemable with a little help from an accredited chef.

Hospitality is excellent. Good explanation of menu and food items. Food was good, hot and the portion size was excellent. Would had been nice to have some small serving plates with the rolls. Seating arrangement seemed odd with the booths in the center of the room rather than against the wall like mostly restaurants. This place is a great addition to the local area and much needed.

If you’re thinking about trying this restaurant, DON’T! I never write reviews but I feel like I must on this restaurant. I had intended to take my husband out for Father’s Day to a new restaurant that we’d never been to before. When we arrived there were two tables occupied and were not busy. We waited for over 15 minutes to be serviced and to get drinks. They were out of steaks (at a steakhouse). We ordered pasta and salad. The salad bar was horrendous. We waited by the salad bar for another 5 minutes waiting on plates as the waiter took orders and kept telling us he would get our plates. There was mustard in the ranch dressing, and ketchup in the blue cheese. The vegetables had cheese mixed in. All the salad containers were almost empty. No crackers. It was one BIG mess. Flies are everywhere in the restaurant! The tables and floors were not clean. Not to mention it was well over 80 degrees inside. One hot mess!! The heat melted the ice quickly in our drinks and the waiter didn’t come to our table for any kind of service. After waiting for over an hour for our food and watching other customers walking out before us for not getting their food or any kind of service, we decided that we had enough. We told them we would pay for our drinks and salads. I explained the condition of the salad bar, the non-existent service, and our warm drinks and we assumed there would at least be a discount. We were wrong again. We were charged full price for the salads and drinks in which we didn’t even receive a refill. Not a good way to try and accommodate new customers. It’s a one-and-done for us but you may have better luck.

First visit to the restaurant. Very pleasantly surprised. We initially were going for a different restaurant which was closed when we arrived. The interior was pleasant and arranged well. I ordered a sirloin steak meal and sides of Cole slaw and steamed broccoli with quesso sauce. The steak was cooked to medium rare (as ordered) and seasoned well. It was a little bit tough but that was probably due to being a sirloin as I typically eat ribeye. The sides were absolutely delicious, especially the steamed broccoli. The staff was pleasant and prompt in taking orders and refilling drinks. The only downside of this lunch was that they serve Pepsi products (I am a Coke guy). Overall this was a nice find in Irvine, KY and I look forward to visiting again. I would give this dining experience a 4.7 out of 5 stars.
