The former owner of Luigi’s in Port Charlotte has opened up a new storefront pizza place in Deep Creek / Punta Gorda with the help of his longtime Luigi’s waitress, Dina. Sme great food made with high quality ingredients. Our large antepasto salad and large works pizza were both as good as we reminisced. The new chicken wings were great, too! Handicapped accessible with clean bathrooms and a newly painted decor. Ot only has 10 small tables, 3 booths and 3 outdoor tables, though, so the place can fill up quickly, especially when the locals stop by to pick up lunch! Friendly service, nice people. Great for couples, families and good food on the go. Cold beer and awoke are available.

My husband and I.had dinner here on a Saturday night during season. We were very happy with our food and the atmosphere of this Italian restaurant. I had the chicken Parmesan and he had the ravioli you get bread which was really good and either wedding soup or a salad. He had the soup I had the salad. They have a TV and play relaxing music. I do recommend this restaurant and will be going back.

Today I went to my Salon to get my hair done and had missed lunch and decided to visit the Deep Creek Pizzeria in the same place and decided late lunch , early dinner ! I was not disappointed. Chrissy my server was quite helpful. I had been there before when they had just opened and did a lovely review so I was pretty sure I would try something different on this visit. So we decided on the Southwestern egg rolls appetizer served with ranch , I opted on a Tai sweet chili sause as I think these days everything comes with ranch and I am not a fan. However I may try it next time as Chrissy says her Boss makes his own Ranch. I then got a lunch special and chose the wings , Five large wings andd again with the Thai Chili sause and Blue cheese dip, yum. Celery also came with it which I think is always needed to cool the palette as you eat it in between the wings loved it. A choice of fries, salad or soup was included so I chose the soup which was Italian Wedding soup. Now I know this soup very well as I grew up with some very good Italian cooks in NY . The soup had all the colorful veggies and meatballs required but I noticed a Possible marjoram flavor and this batch was over powering it. Some times they sell Italian seasonings and the get mixed up with the Mediterranean seasonings that are sometimes added in error or this chef may had made it with the Marjoram. It was still a yummy soup but I had to clean my pallette and then I added tobasco, lol and it was the bomb , so hats off Chef!! To serve myself a special treat I tried one of their special cocktails for the Holiday season and chose a Chocolate Martini! Excellent! With whip cream and chocolate chips! Decadent! I deserved it !! So this place is hitting its marks the two times I have been there and I know I will go again . Many blessings Deep Creek Pizzeria! Bravo!! * went again on Feb 26 added some pics had the pizza special and then took an Italian Sub home delish!!

Ok so I visited this pizzeria after all the hype on Facebook and I really wanted to like it. But it didn’t start out too good. I felt like I was walking into a shed.So so small ! The tables were not many and placed so close together. People ordering take out food would hover over the people seated waiting for their order. No fault of their own because there was no space. Very uncomfortable as a fine in while I was sitting down eating.I arrived at 5:55pm and ordered a large cheese pizza only and it was not ready until 6:47pm. The store had a lot of takeout orders and I don’t know why people who ordered after us got their pizza before us. I have to say the pizza was tasty, although not the best the undercarriage was almost invisible so you could not pick up the slice. You had to eat it with a knife and fork, I would have liked the crust a little thicker on the bottom and not so much around the edges. The cheese was very very tasty and they were not cheap with the cheese. Unfortunately due to atmosphere and timing this is a one and done for me.

We finally made it in to ( new owner) Deep Creek Pizza!! We were pleasantly impressed! Outstanding staff. They had a steady stream of people both getting takeout and dining! The menu is amazing it’s just enough to pick from. We got an appetizer of garlic knots The calzone and Meatball sub and Italian sausage sub. We also got a Margarita pizza to go. As well as A slice of cheesecake & Cannol! The food was delicious! We can’t wait to try the next thing on the menu!! If you are in the Deep Creek area definitely give them a try!!

This pizza place just changed ownership. The pizza is so delicious. I had two lunch specials. One was a half of a meatball sub with a side salad for $9, and a small one-topping personal pizza for $10. The food was delicious. The salad was very fresh, and the ranch dressing was delicious. The sliced sausage was amazing on the piping hot NY style pizza. Absolutely delicious!!

Deep Creek Pizzeria is easily one of the best pizza and Italian food spots in the Port Charlotte area. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff actually make you feel welcome instead of just processed through the line. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in what they’re doing.

My personal favorite is the eggplant parm sub. It’s perfectly breaded, not soggy, with rich marinara and just the right amount of melted cheese. The balance is spot on. It’s the kind of sandwich you keep thinking about later.

If you’re in the area and want solid food with genuinely great service, this place delivers every time.
