Small but well-executed menu in a lovely setting. Order at the counter before finding a table (they are scattered on the patios and 2 rooms inside). The scones were really good and not overly sweet. We tried a few different ones, including a savory one. My dad enjoyed curry chicken in a papaya half. They also have some gifts for sale and a private event room. The setting and vibe can’t be beat: easy, comfortable reminiscent of old Hawaii, but with modern decor. Limited hours but well worth the visit. Love their mission, as well

Goodness! The banana macadamia nut pancakes with coconut cream drizzle had me dancing with every bite! Delicious! So big I couldn’t finish it but worth every cent.
Almond chocolate croissant was also yummy.

Waioli Kitchen is a hidden gem! The location is absolutely beautiful…lush, green, and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The people here are warm and welcoming, and the service has that genuine, local feel that makes the whole experience even better.

The food is really delicious… fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the stop. And don’t let the line fool you… it moves fast! Totally worth the wait.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! ✨

the ambiance was lively and the food was delicious. the banana mac nut pancakes were warm and fluffy. unfortunately they were understaffed which meant several tables were sitting with the previous table’s used dishes.

Cozy, laid back atmosphere good selection of scones, I tried the mango lilikoi scones and English breakfast tea and it was delicious I ordered roasted beets, arugula and goat cheese salad, and a side of chicken, it was a enough portion for me being a petite and señor citizen woman, lol!
The outside atmosphere was nice and relaxing. After we ate we went outside and stroll a bit in the garden, very nice!

Lovely local gem for brunch in Mānoa. For a light breakfast we shared a warm Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Braised Short Rib Local Moco, and Mini Mochi Waffles–all was delicious and satisfying! Coffee is a dark brew and includes refills. Order at the counter then grab a table inside or on lanai for a peaceful meal and relaxed conversation. We’ll definitely be back to taste other menu items and baked goods. Mahalo nui for ono breakfast❣️

Cool place for vibe. You order before you sit, and the wait is 20 plus minutes on weekday, then you take your own stuff to the table. Had to ask for table to get clean and the gal kind of argues with my husband about cleaning it because there is another table that is clean but not out front. He finally had to say, we’d prefer to sit up front will you please clean this one? No one waits on you besides dropping off food. Husband wanted more coffee and you have to get up to go get it. I personally didn’t like the food. I love an avocado toast but this was very thin tiny spread and then tons of arugula. That’s majority of what you got. It said goat cheese, didn’t taste any. My husband liked his but my girls did waffles and didn’t care for them. Too soggy. They didn’t eat them and only ate chocolate banana bread. The Chai tea was really sweet. Everyone kind of ate my husband’s leftover rice as it tasted alright. Not sure I’d go back honestly. The area is gorgeous and the restaurant has great potential if they figure out the food and service thing. You wouldn’t have a line running thru the restaurant if you just allow people to order at table.

Formerly Waioli Teahouse it is recognized as a national historic site in hawaii. I’ve visited this place a few times in the past and notice gradual updates to the staff and menu…the place hasn’t change much.
Even though it’s embedded in manoa with reasonably priced food, pastries and drinks, I believe its more of a tourist attraction now.
My family and I had the breakfast bowl, banana macnut pancakes and the egg & cheese croissant. The strawberry jam & butter toast was good, but the fried rice…not so good. Rice was hard, no flavor and appeared to not include many ingredients. Even the croissant sandwich was just alright. The pancakes with the coconut flakes, bananas and mac nut were delicious.
Service was good, atmosphere being an open exterior seating environment was not bad. During humid days it must be junk.
There is mosquito so be prepared.

This is BY FAR my favorite place to come when on Oahu…and my favorite meal! Love the Breakfast Bowl with fresh avocado and Ube Scone with white chocolate! If I had to choose, this would be my last meal choice.

Waioli Kitchen and Bake Shop offers a charming dining experience in a converted old house with a quaint atmosphere. Parking can be challenging, and expect a 45-minute wait in line during peak hours.

Pros:
– Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor seating
– Surprisingly good potato salad
– Nice cookie selection
– Unique restaurant concept

Cons:
– Limited menu
– Bacon cheeseburger was dry and needed extra sauce
– Iced chai was disappointingly watery
– Outdoor seating has issues with birds and flies

Tip: If you visit, skip the iced chai and ask for extra sauce with your burger. The potato salad is a hidden gem. While not perfect, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and don’t mind waiting.
