The customer service was amazing as well. I really appreciated how the servers came around consistently to check if we needed refills, extra BBQ sauce, napkins, or just to make sure we were enjoying our food. It made the whole experience feel welcoming and cared for.
The oxtails were very good! Next time, I’ll definitely get the full order because the half order came with only three pieces. The ribs were also excellent super flavorful and the half portion came with six pieces. The brisket was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.
Overall, everything was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and served with great hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!
The service matched the food in excellence. The door greeter was welcoming, helpful, and set the tone right away. The cashier was super friendly and provided great customer service. There was plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we interacted with was helpful, attentive, and accommodating.
We drove in from Fontana and it was 100 percent worth the drive. If you are looking for high quality barbecue with great service to match, Destination Smokehouse is a must try. Highly recommended.
On a good note the manager is so sweet.
Would i return if i lived here? If I couldn’t find a good smoke beef rib no where else then yes. If I could then no.
Despite the wait, the experience was still exciting. When our food came out, the presentation was beautiful. We ordered the mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, beef brisket, ribs, and Texas toast. Everything was incredibly tender—just like everyone says. The brisket was the absolute star of the show: flavorful, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth. The ribs were also very tender and fell right off the bone, but they were surprisingly lacking in flavor. The meat itself didn’t seem seasoned or marinated, which made them a bit bland compared to the other items.
Overall, Destination Smokehouse is definitely worth the hype for the tenderness and quality of the brisket alone. My only suggestion would be to season or marinate the ribs more so the flavor matches the texture. Otherwise, great food and a solid experience!
The hottest thing to come on the platter was the candy yams, Mac and Cheese.
The brisket was good but again served Luke warm to the point the fat was solidified within minutes? confused how when they just opened.
The Oxtail was over seasoned for our liking.
The ribs were good probably one of the few things we would want to actually eat while there.
The turkey was glorified delimeat.
Not trying to hate probably would’ve been a better experience if the food was hot when it was brought out it was honestly better when we microwaved a plate up at home….
This is elite BBQ. Period.
The brisket, the Dino Beef Rib, the Pork Ribs, the Pork Belly, everything has real smoke, perfect render, and actual depth, not greasy, not dry, not riding reputation. The Mac and Cheese . Every bite tastes intentional. You can tell this is cooked by people who respect the fire and the craft.
I’ve eaten my way through Texas and California BBQ scenes. Nothing has hit like this. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just execution at the highest level.
If Destination Smokehouse were dropped into Texas, it wouldn’t just survive, it would compete.
Hands down. No debate.
